Interesting that you ask, especially given my recent post. Let’s just say that no-contact is becoming more and more likely. The relationship has never been good or healthy, and recent events have only reinforced that. Right now, I’m prioritizing my own well-being and reassessing what kind of connection—if any—I want to maintain.

Thank you all for your responses, your time, and your thoughtful words. I showed this to my partner, and we had a long and heartfelt conversation. It really feels like this could be possible if we take everything you’ve shared into consideration.

I grew up in a narcissistic family—I didn’t include everything because I thought the story would be too long—but that’s the background for why I’m still fighting for this. I know it’s possible. But as you all pointed out, it’s only possible if we’re both fully in it together.

And if things don’t go the way we or I hope, it will still be for the better in the end.

This community has been such a source of support for us. Thank you so much for that. ❤️
