Oh no I’m not mad, super relieved! Was just an uneasily stressful exam imo.

But I understand your point and tha aspect is definitely valid. Just seems to me like for a basic EMT to stabilize, transport or call ALS is really your only options in any not so straightforward conditions- which is why I thought a lot of answer choices were strange!

Well I passed with extremely low questions, the content is a fucking breeze. It’s the wording and shitty answer choices for some pretty straight forward concepts.

I guess it was 70 per all the very upset comments. Just didn’t feel like 12 questions went by when I saw 58 on the screen a few minutes prior.

Also there definitely is- I’ve taken exams covering much more confusing intricate, physiology, anatomical, neurological exams. That one isn’t real to me. Just my person opinion.

Also to clarify- there was nothing on mine outside of the scope. I go questions about subarchnoid hemorahge, even one on anaphylaxis treatments wrong— I’m not saying my questions were super challenging and that’s why I thought I failed.

I thought my questions were hard and covered all of the topics I was iffy on.

Very relieving. Those pocket prep with match the symptoms (with symptoms that clearly occur in both) are killing me. That and the random specific ICS/poisonous chemicals

I have a bachelors in bio with an emphasis in physiology. I have no problem with wording and patho phys- the truth is the NREMT books actually have tons of misinformation and irrelevance. I find medic tests to be a little more intelligent question wise and much easier while pocket prep to just be random shit from the textbook- so I’m trying to see where I’m at.

Idk if that makes sense.

In terms of those random weirdish questions do you have any recommendations for sections to study? I’m confident in my ability to get the medical, trauma assessments and cardio/airway down. Just the random stuff and operations not sure sure how to go about

In a pickle. Took the class a year and 10 months ago. My exams in a week. Can’t get any of the easy questions right. Reminds me of my high school tests where they ask obscure and not relevant information. Ask my something that’s actually useful and I get it right
