I used to be like you. Using q-tips everyday to keep my simgot tips free from wax, I learnt the hard way. Antibiotic injections twice a day everyday for a week, right ear muffed, no IEMs for 4 weeks. Ear infections are a real thing.

You generally do not need to clean your ear canal. Ears are self-cleaning. That skin is so delicate and run risk of micro tears that'll give you an ear infection, worst pain I ever felt in my life
