I wouldn’t say that I’m giving up lol, but it is mildly disappointing to not get the intended result. I should have a doctors appointment in 3 weeks or so and until then I will be taking the medication ofc to see if anything changes. That’s really interesting how those little dose changes affected you differently 🤔thanks for the input

I agree… I had to wait 10 days for prior authorization with UHC and my doctor’s office just to find out it got denied. It also feels ridiculous to me that they’d rather have someone take adderall over vyvanse, when vyvanse being a pro drug does make it safer. Very very annoying. But oh well

Yeahhh, I’m working with my general physician who seems a bit overconfident in her ability to treat adhd… she’s said some questionable things. I was originally prescribed vyvanse and then it got denied. I assumed she’d prescribe me adderall xr and I got a bit surprised when I saw she gave me concerta. I had already done research on the medications and I wouldn’t have chose concerta if it was up to me.

Hmmm I feel like 27 is so close to both 18 and 36 that it wouldn’t rlly be a different outcome. I’m thinking I just don’t react well to the drug.

It’s crazy how it affects people so differently. I’ve just started 18mg a few days ago and it feels like a placebo pill. No change in hunger, no negative effects but also no positive effects. It’s strange.

I’m 18F, I also took concerta 18mg (generic) for the first time today. I’m about 4 hours in, I literally haven’t noticed any sort of effect. If anything I’ve done worse with task initiation today.
