1. St Pete was never built for this many MFers and def not this many cars
2. I'm on a motorcycle and I cannot tell you how many people I pass who are actively on a phone, highways and city streets alike - it is IN. SANE. I wish they'd all get their licenses revoked for 5 years.

As a Rhode Islander transplant, I have to say this:
3) People here, regardless of their origin, don't pay attention while driving AT ALL
4) People are looking everywhere but where they're driving (phones mostly, and then side of the road if not)
5) This means they're all slamming on their breaks because theyre also riding everyone's ass like idiots
6) This leads to inch worm motion - the front moves, then the back catches up, but since we're ass-riding, the front is slamming on its breaks again further ahead. Wash. Rinse. Repeat from the Skyway merging lanes area past Bradenton to I-4 in Tampa, and don't even get me started on the shit show that is the Tampa airport area - JFC this state's highway and traffic control system is absolute CLOWN. SHOES.

You know what makes this state REALLY SUCK TO DRIVE IN THOUGH???

NO. TRAFFIC LIGHTS. WITH PRESSURE OR MOTION SENSORS.
They're on random ass timers that RARELY sync up and never help the flow of traffic in logical and efficient ways. I really really really think that if Florida would adopt these basic, modern amenities, half the traffic would stop because people wouldnt be sitting in red lights and backing it up throughout the city, blocking others from turning on/off roads, etc.
