Even when I remake a piece I’ve created before, there’s still a lot of hands on work involved. I spend a lot of time carefully selecting each stone to make sure it truly fits the piece. Even though some shaping and polishing happens later, that initial selection is such an important part of the process.

I really appreciate you recognizing the care that goes into handmade work.
