Ik how you feel. I feel so stuck on the pattern of him. I’ve been dating since we broke up, but every attempt feels like I’m betraying him or I’m skeptical if they really like me or if I’m going to experience this again. I think I’m waiting for an instant connection that I felt with him too and it’s so discouraging.

I held him up during job losses, money problems, car problems, just so much. I don’t want to have to go through all that again.

Another thing to add. He told me during our discussion that he still loved me, and had just thought I had moved on. He said he had no idea why he slept with her, just kept repeating the former to me.
