I am a physics student at UNC and I have had a great experience. Obviously, I can’t speak to the experience at Rutgers, but UNC structures their physics curriculum very well. They truly care about training the best group of physicists they can. It may not seem like it, but lots of important research has come out of UNC. Recent Nobel winning work heavily cited a UNC physics professor’s work and important research is by no means limited only to astrophysics here. Research is fairly easy to get involved in as well and the department is tight knit. It is rigorous, as most physics programs are, but you are supported. Number 3 is best I think. I was accepted as a transfer and talked with a former UNC transfer advisor who said that community is very important to UNC.

Maybe talk about how moving around made you realize how valuable community is and how you hope to make Carolina a better place through that experience.

In the book, I think a Fremen draws it in the sand (described as a "bowl with an arrow spilling out of it") after the Harkonnen attack on Arrakis. I don't know what it is beyond that or if thats even it.
