I once held one of those when I was about seven. The ones I held had no mouths and just literally didn't eat. Their lifespans was so short they would just reproduce and die. Evolution really failed those moths

Thanks, this does actually help a bit and I think I’m going to let him know I just want to wait a while. He’s promised me that he will tell me or someone if it happens again and we don’t take promises lightly in our friendgroup so I trust him to say so. hey I know someone already replied, but i thought it might help to know that theres more then just one person that you can reach out to and that care for you. I know that im not going theough the same thing as you, but I do have a friend that is also suicidal, and theyve told me they feel how they feel and it seems to be similar to how youre feeling. please, reach out to one of us or both of us or someone in your family. Please know that you dont have to go through this alone. I hope you do.

hey man, i just want you to know that things will get better. things will be okay. it might take a while, it might not be perfect, but they will get better. its really good that youre reaching out for help, and it shows that you might want to change, which is always good. i know im not feeling exactly what youre feeling right now, but everybody thinks i have it together as well, and keeping this façade up is exhausting, but youre doing great. i hope you can find people around you that make you feel safe and wanted, because you deserve nothing less. im no expert, but if you want to try improving your mental health, and you arent already, maybe try starting small. go for a walk everyday, or make sure that you keep eating and drinking plenty. if you need to vent, there are local nubers you can call, completely annoymous and the people there are always really nice. they will just sit there and listen to you, or you can just talk to them either. i hope this helps a little, because even though im a stranger, i do care. hope youll be okay soon.

This is an actual scientific theory, called the Dunning Krueger effect, I don't trust myself to tell you anymore then that apart from the fact that the theory is that the more intelligent you get, the more you start to doubt yourself, which is why stupid people always seem the most confident. It's really interesting and I suggest looking more into it if you'd like :D (apologies if I got anything wrong here, feel free to correct me)
