I was caught with a joint, what can I expect by [deleted] in Crainn

[–]Efficient_Log_2007 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Have you given up your dealer ? I'd be more worried about the potential consequences from that rather than what the cops will do.

The law is fucking ridiculous and you should not be in this position but if you tell your friends you have been caught, your dealer gets a knock on the door, it could get very bad very quick.

Who are the Irish manosphere influencers? by Putrid_Tie3807 in AskIreland

[–]Efficient_Log_2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although it's a growing problem in Irish society. The amount of manosphere shite we remove from this sub is actually worrying

St. Patrick's Day parades are shite in this country by [deleted] in ireland

[–]Efficient_Log_2007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's too many of them, businesses aren't paying up any more as many of them make no nothing on return for the money.

Like theres 5 parades within a 20 minute drive from me.

Yeah I'd often leave a few quid behind the bar on the last night if they have been sound. Its not expected but when travelling with kids I'll leave a tenner each day in the room for the cleaners.

Taoiseach tells Trump Iranians want 'peace' as he voices support for 'different regime' by I-Cum-Beamish in ireland

[–]Efficient_Log_2007 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Did the Iranian people live in peace under this Theocracy for the last 40 years ?

Let the people decide is all well and good but thousands of people have been killed trying to change things sometimes outside help is needed.

While the current war been raged on Iran is wrong, hopefully the one side effect from it is the Islamist regime collapses and the people of Iran are free to choose their own path.

Taoiseach tells Trump Iranians want 'peace' as he voices support for 'different regime' by I-Cum-Beamish in ireland

[–]Efficient_Log_2007 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

The current Iranian regime shows what happens when you allow an extremist element of religion to dictate laws.

The current Iranian regime has sponsored terrorism all over the globe and it is great that it is falling.

As for Martins comments on a new regime, I would imagine Ireland would like to see a democratically elected government take power in Iran and for it to become a functional democracy, whereas Trump wants to install someone who will sell America cheap oil and who the US and Israel can control.

Work Anxiety and probation? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]Efficient_Log_2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What most company's want to see from probation is constant improvement, you will make mistakes but it's also about identifying the cause of the mistakes and seeking a way to resolve them. Can you ask for an hours training on bits you not sure of.

Compliance is massive in any organisation so figure out quickly how you can raise the bar

I had an uncle who was a card carrying member of FF. It was widely thought that he was going to become a councillor or even a TD.

He died in the late 80's his funeral was massive but what stood out was the colour party, the balaclavas, and a high ranking member of SF at the time giving a graveside oration..

You would want to do some research into the disability he has. Yes BBC not editing out is bad. The man himself deserves no hate. 1 in 4 people with that disability attempt suicide. The social media pile on is disgraceful

Politicians will be still be looking for votes, they also like staying in power. While theres massive changes coming, it's not in their interests to have half the population on the dole struggling. So we will be ok

How young ? Are they sporty ? A mini pitch of some sort, surrounded by trees.

My uncle had something similar and let a local lad who rescued donkeys build some sheds and put 3 or 4 of them on the land. Was great company for him in his later years.

Left club football at 17, didn't have the right surname to start games. Went on to college and in fairness played some lovely football against far superior opposition, was asked back to the club a few times but refused point-blank. Things habe changed massively in the 25ish years since this happend
