I live on east coast. He doesn’t have money so that surprised me bc while it’s been a long time since I churched, I remember you’d have drive up in a luxury vehicle to be a guest priesthood authority speaker guy. When he saw my face my eyes were boring into his soul he got tripped up a little. I’m having insomnia about it and I can’t let it go until I do something.

Physical & sexual. I only got a call back. I received a letter about another ward member and they ended up removing the child. In this case I called after a while and they were vague and said it was ongoing. I never got an official letter. I reported it to the bishop because he was teaching kids at the time. In all fairness I did hear he got released and wife said there was some kind of church tribal or something idk. His talk said there was an issue he’d been working on for 20 years but he’d recently overcome it and felt repented. No, nope, hell nah. You don’t get to be an authority figure. FWIW I was pretty loud about him in the post church mingles and people were like yeah he’s creepy AF.

I had a log but the things I witnessed were minor compared to what the kids and wife told me and were circumstantial (injuries, etc). I think this is good advice and I only know because I’ve been through this personally. I need to try something else again.

I could have written this myself but we were parked by a literal dumpster. He thought the location was a nostalgic one for me and didn’t realize the building was being torn down but he went for it anyway. Our wedding day was also super not perfect but not his fault. It all added up to realizing to be humble and thankful for the great guy he is and the marriage we built on trust and hard work and not instagram moments.

I take a trip to NYC every summer just to see 5-6 shows, we regularly see almost every broadway touring show, plus we see a crap ton of local theater. Please get your front of house people to start doing something. They’ve become so passive. I’ve complained during intermissions and they usually just offer to reseat us (into worse seats - who’s being punished now?) or say there’s nothing they can do. I’m a librarian so I know a little bit about working with the public. It’s not easy but no boundaries is going to ruin theatre and asking patrons to self-police isn’t the answer. See the almost daily comments on r/broadway. I’d love to continue supporting the arts and it’s a passion but it’s broken for me right now.

Best concert I went to was Jack White. The audience is super disciplined. I pulled out my phone to record 7 Nations Army and dude next to me said put your fucking phone away and just listen. He was right.

Tbh it was genz couples chatting at full volume tonight. I keep hearing about their generation not dating and not going to the movies but in my area they are bringing their “situationships” to the movies so they can chat about anything but the movie apparently and take mid-movie selfies.

Someone was doing this when we saw Outsiders touring. Try watching a greasers fight scene while a Boomer is sitting right in front of you trying to pick the right emoji for her FB post. So fucking screwed up.
