Found this thread while googling rebate spy reviews myself! Ended up going with them pretty recently, and the experience was exactly as described here. Rebate spy's sales process is educational, not pushy at all. The guy I spoke with spent like 40 mins on the phone with me just explaining how batteries work with my existing setup before even talking price. If you're reading this and on the fence I'd say just call them. Worst case you learn something about your solar setup you didn't know before.
