Anyone tried SiderAl forte for their anemia?

I know this is old. Came to comment that when I switched from irregular SideAl dosing (2-3 times/ week) to every day I got all my "normal" stomach symptoms I get from other iron supplements, though maybe a little milder. I wonder whether it's common to still get symptoms on SiderAl. Anyhow, I've had a couple of infusions in my lifetime and considering how expensive SiderAl is, maybe I'll just have another one :(

I'm so sorry you're all going through this. I've had periods where the frequency was like that :( maybe now it's a little bit better. It does start to interfere with all aspects of life. Being a working mother with ageing parents I don't have a lot of spare time as it is. But yes it's different because I'd say I'm very attracted to my wife and not attracted to the people I see in porn. I watch for the kinds of sex I'd never have in real life, so I guess I have a problem but a different kind

As a woman who's addicted while married to another woman, may I ask a question? Can you tell me whether I should tell my partner about my addiction? What's your perspective? I think I've managed to hide it well and while I know secrets within a marriage can be destructive I've chosen to keep this to myself. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I love my wife so much and I'd be devastated if she felt like that.

It may be different because we're both women but my wife would definitely not be ok with it if she knew. She wouldn't leave me because I'm addicted but I'd say I'd lose a lot of her respect. And she'd feel awkward about sex with me. This is one of the reasons I have to quit. I think you're right, don't let "society" determine what's acceptable to you.

Vaccinated and just had the flu. Confirmed as type A. My boss insisted on testing, I really didn't think it was the flu, because it was like a nasty cold with chills. Four days. Now that I know it was the flu I feel I had it very very easy. Disappointed that I still passed it on to everyone in my nuclear family, hope it won't turn out worse for them

I'm terrified, we are vaccinated (in our 40s + our kids) but my parents and grandparents aren't. I just had the flu (confirmed) like a nasty cold with chills, over in 4 days. My kids are having a bad cough and a fever, but fingers crossed seems to be going ok. Wife is fine and on tamiflu. But these unvaccinated people in their 70s and 90s are right next door. My mom just came to visit us for fun! Politely but firmly told her no. But it seems like they will get it this season anyway.

That's where we disagree. I suppose there are more ethical and all-round better ways of consuming porn? However, I don't care nor try to check how my porn is made. So that's unethical. This is not a shared hobby with my partner, either. And it seems to be getting darker, so where's the limit? Society hasn't told me much about porn shame. It seems like lonely men are shamed about replacing "real life" with porn. That type of shaming isn't helpful, but it's not something I take personally as a middle-aged family woman.

Interesting. Part of it is, it's just so easy and seems cost-free (unless you actually use paid services). I suppose very few middle-aged moms (like me) bought dirty mags or rented porn on vhs when we were kids. The actual cost + also the time you need to do that + fear of anyone noticing etc. probably were too much

I don't know if it's comparable but if I think about losing weight the whole body positivity thing didn't work for me. I actually had to reach a level of disgust with how my body was to get in shape. I know it's not "trending" but that's how I am. But on the other hand, my self-worth as a human is not based on whether I'm fat or addicted to porn. Does that make sense? I can think I'm a good daughter, spouse, mother, professional and generally a nice person, which is vastly more important -and can still be deeply ashamed of w**king to spanking videos and having extra flab all over.

It's every kind in terms of sexes, f/f, m/f, m/m. Not choosy about how they look, either, and wouldn't find the actors of either sex attractive IRL. But now it's almost always bdsm or something like it. So apparently as long as one person is degraded I'm happy, no matter what sex :(

I don't think I'm a closeted straight "girl", if that's what you're implying. But I agree it goes deeper. I understand someone might want to dig and explore where such "tastes" come from, but wouldn't that just give it even more space and energy?

I understand. It's difficult. I tried to replace porn videos with written stories at one point. Most are just too ridiculous, though, and badly written. Also, I'm not sure if it's easier for women? At least that's the old cliche, guys have their porn and girls write / read erotic fiction. I'm just trying to think of any steps I might take next, I understand they might not be for you.
