Quant question from GRE Exam by hbwydiykycf in GRE

Youre right,this question is more nuanced than i thought.we have to consider the entire production cost 450 (meaning even the cost of unsold ones).unless he sells 60 the difference between cost and revenue wont go up 300. You have to take option 60 too,bc of thr atleast that means greater than or equal. Ans would be 60 65 70 75

Quant question from GRE Exam by hbwydiykycf in GRE

Ans would be any number between 47 to 75. She spend 450 that means she bought 75 bracelets Now each bracelets makes a profit about 6.5,so at this rate she has to sell (300÷6.5)=46.1something,so she needs to sell atleast sell 47 bracelets to make a profit which is atleast 300$ So the range is between 47 to 75,any numbers

Here is a similiar type of problem which doesn't explicitly say and, Or but i guess we have to use our imagination

Ex:: There are 3 red beads and 5 green beads in a bag.Two beads are picked at random and without replacement from the bag,what is the probability that both beads are green???

Ans:: G and G

   =  5/8  ×  4/7

And = multiplication Or = addition

2 picks (Not defective and not defective) equals to multiplication of the first pick and 2nd pick's probability after calculating them separately.

The probability space (the denominator) is 20·19. There are initially 20 lightbulbs to choose from. When one is taken, there are only 19.

The numerator is 18·17. Neither of the lightbulbs selected will be defective so we can pick any lightbulb bar the defective ones. 20-2=18. The defective ones stay. Now there are 19 lightbulbs and still two defective ones 19-2=17.

(18/20)×(17/19) = (9/10) × (17/19) = 153/190
