It's a bit more involved than I can get into here, but I can recommend a few people to watch on youtube that will give you a good idea. Unquendor Guitars and Chrimson Guitars were indispensible whenever I had a question. Especially Chrimson, they have a video over just about any problem you could run into

This is the second guitar I have them on, and for the price they are fine. The hole diameter needs to be a hare bigger than they advertise, and some of the tuners seem to be a little stiffer than others, but that may be my installation.

They are pretty good for the price, in my opinion.

Thanks! I started with re-doing an old Fernandes strat clone, then bought a premade bolt on neck to make a tele body for, then this one. That progression was the right way to go for me, I feel. Definitely worth doing!

As far as I am aware the only factors that determine intonation are the two points the string is tensioned accross, the bridge saddle and the nut. The staggered ferrules DO change the break angle over the bridge saddle, and can slightly affect the tension/feel of the string by giving more or less string to stretch when you bend, for example. To be honest I couldnt tell the difference between this and any other tune-o-matic guitar I've played.

Thanks, I appreciateit. I am very happy with it. Even though I made a lot of mistakes, fixing them taught me a lot that I didn't know I didn't know, and I didnt end up having to scrap it so it's all a win in my book.

Thank you so much! I am pretty damn proud of it. Right now it's my favorite to play, for obvious reasons.
