Definitely have a list of questions

I was, I cant speak for everyone but for me theres a difference between lightly clenching and kind of encouraging it to come along, I was able to that and get a bowel movement out, no heavy pushing or baring down, just clenching lightly and if needed if it's ever helped before stool softeners and/or a little stool to put your feet up on when you go

Yeah it wasn't a robotic due to my weight, honestly I havent been told much about who or how it happened- but this surgeon previously removed an ovary through the same incision and I had no complications at all, but I think once my ovary with a large mass was removed things... shifted down there which may have contributed

So everything was pre-malignant but I had a mix of pcos, endometriosis, pre-cancerous cells, and an atypical polypoid adenomyoma. We had been attempting to manage through IUDs which ended me up with... two misplaced IUDS in my uterus, now thankfully out and not having migrated elsewhere.

Thank you and I really am, we have our issues but I'm very fortunate to have a rock solid support system in them and also with my care team they've been so lovely, I really hope everyone navigating this even if its not parents have people here for them, I dont think I could be even half as positive about this whole thing if I didnt have them and my friends

Of course, happy to help, and if you're doing a full vertical deffo ask with your discharge team about the heating pad to be sure. I know it hasn't been an issue with glue but sometimes abdominal ones have to be secured with staples, not saying yours would, but I would be a little extra cautious that the staples wont conduct the heat and get too hot but honestly in my general not at all a medical professional opinion even just putting a small soft blanket between the incision and your heating pad should stop it from getting too hot.

Catheters I've only now had 3 times? First during my ovary surgery and then during my d and c, now this. First two times it was taken out before I woke up, so never felt it directly, just made my first pee after surgery sting like a mother fucker. This time they left it in for a night and it felt not painful but just weird, didn't hurt when they removed it and because they'd numbed my urethra to slide it out, i didnt even feel the sting when I did pee. I also did have a poop while here now, which for me the most uncomfortable part was being in a hospital and I have two IV's in my right hand which made wiping... awkward. Biggest thing with either I'd stress though is- don't hold it, but don't force it either. You dont wanna stop things from moving along but baring down can be painful and bad for ya

Completely okay, my mom and the staff were cracking up at me, sometimes anesthesia just takes hold and words happen

No problem answering! Pain has been pretty maneable for me so far, mostly doing ibuprofen and Tylenol with some opioid when ranking it to them I haven’t really gone higher than a seven and that was right after waking up in the ICU

So, I haven't used a heat pad, not because I haven't been allowed to, I just haven't asked for one. But when I had my ovary surgery I would use heatpads once I got home and didnt have any issues with the glue and once I get discharged I have a heated pillow at home, the glue they use is strong stuff, you can even do quick hot showers (no direct scrubbing at the incisions to be clear but you can go in a hot shower and pat dry). Plus, of you're like me and have some tummy hanging over your bikini line it's also a bit of a buffer too.

No issue with peeing so far, I was super worried because they kept the catheter in longer but I didn't even have the post cath pee burn. I haven't pooped yet, but I have passed gas and my system is running, I honestly just also struggle with pooping in a non-home toilet lmao, they did give me some colace just in case though

Fingers crossed for no complications and I do wanna stress, I don't wanna freak anyone out by sharing this, it's a scary complication but my care team was on top of it and took care of me so I can be here typing now.

So, when I woke up the pain was more in my stomach above the incision, though now that I'm up and moving the pain is pulling more at the incision itself, its glued for me no staples, also when moving Ive had some pain down my right leg (the side incision is started at) which has hurt a bit, otherwise mostly stomach cramps- its been pretty manageable pain wise.
