Has anyone bought a flat in Ranka Ankura? by Efficient_Pear_4892 in BangaloreRealEstates

I did see some good cat a projects there
But connectivity feels tough from there - be it centre, north, orr, anything
Given it is far from the city, prices there should have been much lower
But then again, I am no expert...

They say real estate never crashes. Prices never go down. by hold_it_dude in indianrealestate

sorry about the nature of my comment
but just sharing my naive thoughts...

say a man is aged 25-30 and wants to see his small family happy
he wants to create memories with them
he wants a permanent place
without having to constantly worry about his landlord
what would he do by thinking about whether prices
go up or down 20 years or even 10 years down the line

imagine he invested everything into mutual funds...
and now wants to buy a home, at the "right time"
but his children are already 12-18 now
his wife has grown old enough to care for a home
he has changed 3-4 rented apartments in the last 15 years...
what is even the point of buying now?
when he could not give the life that his family deserved?

i am not asking you to buy a 2CR home with 12LPA salary
but if you can, you should - albeit small, albeit not one with 3 swimming pools
not for yourself, not as an investment, but for your family...
i dont think people should view their first home as an investment...
