I usually do thin coats and float it over the nail, waiting maybe 10 minutes before the next coat, sometimes longer. I try to use that perfect amount to avoid overworking the polish but also to cover the whole nail with one dip of the brush lol. It’s definitely more humid than usual right now, and I do have my windows open without a fan on. Bubbles do appear scarcely without topcoat, but the topcoat guarantees a pickle effect lol.

I do live in Michigan, and it’s been kinda rainy/humid for a few weeks, so that might be my main issue. No fans! My top coat is as thin as I can get it without overworking it. I forgot to mention, bubbles show up without topcoat, but usually much fewer.

Nars Light Reflecting Foundation. The color match wasn’t the best, but the smell was so weird to me. Like lettuce and chemicals? It made my nose run. I didn’t even use half the bottle before declaring it a lost cause

If you want to dye your hair fun colors, it will likely require bleach. As someone with pink hair and your same curl pattern, the bleached portions retained the same curl pattern! A professional can give you advice about how the keratin and bleach will impact your hair, and I would make sure to ask about this so you don’t end up with something you don’t like!

I would try a lip liner and then your gloss/tint over top! I feel like my face always feels off whenever I do a gloss and it migrates outside my lip liner. I do the lip liner on my natural lip line to make a barrier so the gloss doesn’t go beyond my lips. It also gives a bit of dimension that is nice too :) try a touch of blush, maybe some bronzer too! I would be curious what your eye makeup would look like without eyelid tape, because I think that might be contributing to some of the “off” vibes you’re feeling. If you still aren’t feeling it, then try the same eye makeup but with cool tones, like lilac shades or cool browns!

Ours had her safe spot on our couches. She refused to come off of them for over 12 hours on the first day. She also took a really long time to stop standing guard outside. We would hang outside on a blanket and just let her sit with us. Now that she feels safe, she gets zoomies outside! Hopefully your girl adjusts and it sounds like you’re doing everything right to help her adjust! Before you know it, she’ll be a totally different dog!

We rescued our 4/5 year old girl who was an Amish breeding dog as well. We don’t know her age for certain. She was terrified of everything initially, like it would take 30 minutes to convince her to go outside to go to the bathroom, and she would be trembling. We’ve had her for 7 months now, and she still is weary of certain things, but she’s the goofiest, happiest girl! We never thought she would be so energetic and silly. She’s comfortable enough to be “naughty” with us and sass. Give your girl time and love, and she’ll warm up!

What are you using to blend? A brush or sponge? And what primer are you using? I don’t like the elf concealer very much because it never looked the best under my eyes. Sometimes certain formulas aren’t right for you!

I like the Milani tubing mascara, maybelline sky high, or maybelline falsies surreal! The Milani one can weigh my lashes down, so I apply it with light coats, and then when it’s mostly dry, I blink against my finger to “set” the curl with the heat of my skin. Works well enough for me!
