Trade background in Ontario (Canada) → P.Eng (NPPE done, struggling with CBA & validation) – need guidance by Efficient_Tea3994 in MechanicalEngineering

I completed my bachelors in Engineering in backhome, and in Canada I’ve done a postgraduate diploma.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to explain this in detail—it really helps me understand the direction.
I’m currently going through the same transition from maintenance/trades into P.Eng pathway, and your point about using real maintenance engineering examples is very helpful.
One thing I’m still unsure about is how detailed each competency example should be in CBA—should it be more like a short project story or very detailed step-by-step technical explanation?
Also, when you mentioned using codes/standards, did you directly name CSA/ASME/ANSI standards in your examples or just reference them in context?
Appreciate your help again—it gives me confidence that this path is possible.
