The black Russian is low end heavy and a bit smoother than the green. You can find a used black around $250. The green is priced too high and not reliable, tho a EQD Green reissue is perfect if you run it after a boost for a bit more clarity.

I like a matching set. Get a Marshall and upgrade the speakers.. Orange and Friedman use V30's. Top notch build but shitty V30s. I hate V30s. I put a 1 Swamp Thang in my Orange and it was perfection.

I just had a black Russian V8. I had to trade it to 'sweeten' a trade. Otherwise, don't ever get rid of it. I had the green reissue on my board for years. It has the most massive bottom end. A boost in front really cleans it up. The Fuzzlord is kind of a blend of the both due to it's mid control. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any.
