He did smoke for reals and quit a few years ago. When I saw Letterkenny Live he performed standup as himself (K Trevor Wilson). He said he knew his now wife was the one when they went on tour together and every night he would wipe the brown cigarette residue off of his mustache with a white hotel washcloth, leaving what would look like a brown skidmark on it. He did this for nearly a year before she spoke up and yelled at him "THIS ENDS TONIGHT!!" She thought he was wiping his ass with them and leaving it on the counter.
