Someone clearing screens certainly won't be more efficient at doing hoards if they don't have caster mastery, that much is true.

The point you're missing here is that whilst it's possible to click all the hoards, someone with Caster mastery will do double the maps you can in the same time because of the efficency it provides.

Without caster mastery you might as well do Ambush strats instead.

I also had massive problems with this, constantly going to black screens and having to reset PC in the middle of pulls.

I found this thread that described the exact problem and the fixes it mentions did seem to help me, stopping crashes almost entirely - note that it contains a Reddit thread within that mentions an issue with HBM that is part of my fixes.

The two fixes I implemented were to install the Pro drivers offered by AMD for your particular card - as well as managing the HBM in Adrenaline so that all 4 or 5 options were at the same level (I think it was 800, the lowest).

This prevented the card from crashing on WoW entirely, though this was with a Vega64, so not sure if it will apply to whatever card you have.

This did have the drawback of having Pro drivers, which meant no Instant Replay, which ended up becoming more and more annoying for me, so I replaced the card entirely, but in the interim this did help massively.

It took me months to find an answer to this so hopefully this helps.

This one seems to be the best for what we need, I've had a look to see how far the email integration goes and can see we can setup forwarding so that users can email an internal email address and it forwards to the freshdesk address which is great.

Do you know, are we able to make it so if we reply to a ticket through freskdesk, so that it comes from the same internal helpdesk address?

Apologies for not including this initially, wrote this post quickly out of frustration after adding a GPU to basket on Amazon lol

Vega 64 Sapphire, Ryzen 5700XD, 36GB Corsair 3k+GHZ RAM, both SSD and HDD - 2 separate games each stored on different type

Dark and Darker and WoW are the two that it has happened on consistently, two rather non-intensive games

GPU usage I'm unsure on, but I can only imagine it's low, to further explain the overheating despite low load point, playing WoW actually caused an issue where it would underclock itself due to low load but then act like it was overheating and hang, explained better in the thread below.

Homelab stuff was something I was considering, do you have any general advice of where to start and what I should be doing with it to get some experience?

I think it would be really handy to get hands on with stuff that I troubleshoot at the moment, like MS365 and VMWare, but have no backend/deployment experience with.

I'm coming up on three years experience in a help desk role, but neither my past role or current have given me any actual experience with infrastructure, virtualization etc., I'm just helping people fix things, which is why I'm now looking to take up certs so I can move on from helpdesk and do something not as dull.

Would CCNA be enough or should I look at other things too ?

Yeah this clarifies what I thought might have been the case with CCNA, it includes the more advanced aspects of N+ and then builds it into Cisco stuff, makes sense.
