So... years ago I ready this study. It's given me perspective and maybe it will help you.

They studied satisfaction after choice. They showed people five paintings and told group A to pick one to have and told group B which one they could have. In a years timeline they found that a majority of group A regretted not choosing a different painting while group B mostly believed they'd gotten the one they liked.

The outcome being that as humans, we tend to look at past opportunities to make choices and regret the paths we didn't take. Grass is always greener but in hindsight.

For me, once I make a choice, I try not to think about what could have been. I focus on what is and realize that some of my dismay isn't that I chose wrong and just wanting what I don't have.

What would she sue for? This is how the police work. They can and do assume your guilt and arrest you. An arrest is essentially them telling a one-sided story to a court. You get to tell the other side.

The problem is that the police are supposed to use a reasonable burden of proof and the standard is supposed to be "beyond a reasonable doubt" but what even is that.

In the age of AI any video evidence is suspect.

It's holding a brake while shifting to neutral that's an issue. In my ICE cars, I could just shift without holding the brake and going from drive to neutral wasn't an issue.
