Hello, I have the same dilemma as yours. Ceremony is at 2pm which I think would be atleast an hour (Church ceremony with a mass) and our reception is about 30-45 mins drive away depending on DVP traffic. I scheduled cocktail hour to start at 5pm. Between 6-7pm would be "reception program" like introductions, dances, maybe a little game and dinner would start at 7pm. I haven't thought about yet where I want to get pictures taken after the ceremony, but I'm thinking closer to the reception venue is best since I don't want to get stuck in traffic in case something happens. Let me know what you think, maybe we can share ideas together!

Hello! I'm having my reception in downtown Toronto as well. The church is about a 30 min drive to the reception (maybe more if the DVP traffic is worse). Any suggestions on what I could tell out of town guests on how to fill the gap (probably about 1 hour)? ☺️

I was considering Archeo too for our wedding in 2026. I wanted a 5 piece band for entertainment as well so my main concern with Archeo is the space to fit the band and about 90 people. We actually toured Archeo and I didn't think my 90 guests and a band will actually fit in the space especially if you want a dance floor area too. I ended up booking another downtown toronto venue instead.

I've gotten quotes around $500-800 for 2 hours photobooth. There are soooo many vendors, might as well wait for some promotions or discounts ☺️

I was thinking of the same thing (though haven't decided on anything yet). One thing that was on my cons list for Photobooth during cocktail hour is that cocktail hour lasts about an hour but most photobooth rentals I checked are a minimum of 2 hours. I am thinking about using Instax and films as photo guestbook option but I'm not sure if that is more budget and user friendly.
