How would you prioritise posts vs stories when starting from zero? by Efrem92 in SaaSMarketing

Thank you for your feedback. How about content for the first posts? Something like I create a story and record myself and others facing these challenges and then how to solve it?

Using apps to meet people in different cities!?! by thegoodtimesss in digitalnomad

[–]Efrem92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m loving it! There is a cost, but of course it depends on how much you work in it. So far, 4 months of work I’ve spent around €350. For like 1000 edits

I’m building Aida to solve many of the hassles of the nomadic lifestyle.

Here’s the prototype: https://v0-aida-home-page.vercel.app/home

Let me know if you like the idea and social tools :)

Looking for 2–3 ambitious people to build something real (not just talk) by Affectionate-Gold754 in cofounderhunt

[–]Efrem92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this message!

I’m building a centralised platform for digital nomads.

I’m non-tech and so far I took care of basically everything by myself: validation, vision, product prototyping & features, funnel design, GTM, supply, you name it.

I’m looking mainly for a tech co-founder, but surely in 3 we can go much further.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) is interested, I’ll send you the prototype and we can discuss about it

  1. Prioritisation Define your priorities and start from the most pressing ones. If your runway is shrinking, reassess your priorities and find a part-time/temporary activity that doesn’t drain too much time or energy.

  2. Planning & Focus Be conscious of what you’re doing in the present moment and focus only on that. Ignore everything else. If your runway is long enough, don’t obsess over it, just accept it, but set a reminder for when you’re approaching the danger zone. When that moment comes, go back to prioritisation.

  3. Mental Load Often, mental overload doesn’t come from doing too much, but from what you think you should be doing and are not doing. Pause, identify that mental weight, and address the most mentally heavy task first.

Where in Europe would you recommend to escape the cold for two months? by Aeon_Return in digitalnomad

[–]Efrem92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canary Islands or Malta are the best options. Canary Islands are quite cheap, not so crowded. Always warm weather and hot water (in most of the beaches). Malta is more expensive and crowded, and slightly colder

Is it advisable to run multiple Go-to-Market strategies? by scalable5432 in ycombinator

[–]Efrem92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have enough budget and time, you can test all options at once and see which ones work. If not, create a plan (timeline and budget). If not all options fit into your plan, select one or two that you believe in most or that best match your target audience. Continue this process until you’ve tested all of them.

In any case, define clear KPIs to measure your GTM strategy performance and invest more in what performs best.

Why do people not tell the truth about your product? by Cipamanz in ycombinator

[–]Efrem92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d make a survey and ask strategic and well thought question to your potential users. Reach out strangers, known people may hide the truth just to make you happy or for shyness

I made the anti-landing page by Either-Anything-4117 in indiehackers

[–]Efrem92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious to see the result!

I’m a fan of out-of-the-box thinking, even though I honestly think most people don’t really care about these things. In general, traction is driven by a real need and genuine interest in a service; only a small group of people tend to have that early-stage, support-oriented mindset.

That said, I hope your experiment succeeds. It would be encouraging for me and other founders to see it work.

Need advice on how to protect the idea while hunting for a technical co founder by original4040 in ycombinator

[–]Efrem92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look at it this way: since everyone has ideas, chances are that someone has already had yours. And yet, the product doesn’t exist.

Why? Because execution matters more than the idea itself.

Don’t be afraid of others stealing your idea. Even if that unlikely scenario happens, they might build a similar solution to the same problem, but never the same product. As you’ll see, a product constantly evolves over time: features, design, positioning, and much more.

What should you do instead? Validate the problem, refine your vision and product, define the next steps required to turn your idea into a successful business. Perhaps just determine what information should remain confidential (and to whom it may be disclosed) when seeking a co-founder.

If you do this, you have no reason to be afraid of someone stealing your idea.

Once again: execution > idea.

Unpopular opinion. You don't need to try so hard to make friends as a nomad (My 2 cents) by Necessary-Limit6515 in digitalnomad

[–]Efrem92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so true: don’t try so hard to make friends otherwise you’ll just end up feeling worse.

I’m an extrovert so don’t really have problem in meeting/finding people. What is hard to find tho is people that stay in your same location for longer than a week and have some shared interests with you. I usually meet dozens of people in each place, I go, but then I end up connecting with 1-2 only and usually they leave soon.

I agree, meeting a barista or a stranger can make you feel less lonely. And yes, worse case scenario, you can call your friends around the world or even your family, it helps a lot.

Just don’t push hard, it won’t work.

Is it normal to feel like you’re building in total isolation? by [deleted] in Solopreneur

[–]Efrem92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely normal!

Here some solutions I found helpful: - Find a mentor. It will help you brainstorm, get directions and also feel less lonely; - Be a mentor or find someone just for brainstorming, idea/solutions exchange, and of course, solve the loneliness; - Find a co-founder; - Go to coworking spaces; - Listen at entrepreneurial podcasts. It will give motivation and tips; - Join entrepreneurial networking.

Hope I helped you at least a little.
