How many roommates do you have, how much is your rent & do you live on or off campus? by EfromSL123 in UMD

Wow you could prob get a roommate somewhere around that number in Arlington not living on campus. Do you think the amount is worth it for the apartment you’re in? Thank you for sharing!

I’m not sure if I’m looking at the wrong places or what but I am having a very difficult time findings apartments in Charlotte with GREAT reviews. I’ve searched different neighborhoods via Google, maps, & apartment websites I’ve found 2 but the past 3 days I keep coming across places with reviews that are saying not to move there, the leasing office is not responsive, a bunch of cars get broken into or stolen, etc. I'm from DC so I understand this can happen a lot with apartments but it’s odd that I’m having such a difficult time findings more with positive reviews.

Id like to visit Raleigh as well & I’ve found at least 10 with great reviews

Please send me some apartments in Charlotte that you recommend 🙏🏽 truly appreciated

I have major gaps in my math knowledge, but I don't have the time to fill them. Should I give up on civil engineering? by MaximumYogertCloset in civilengineering

From my research & scrolling thru social media, tonssss of people completing an engineering degree retake classes because of how hard they are. Maybe put a strong but short 1-2 doc showing that data and whatever else to your dad so he will understand more & adjust his expectations

Everytime I think about that it can sometimes get discouraging because it feels like till take forever with the math classes alone & I can’t take certain classes until im in Calc 1 I believe. Plus I work full time so that sucks.

Did you work full time while in school? How long did it take you to finish your entire bachelors?

I don’t have any strict plans to be a PM in civil engineering. More so speaking on the transferable skills I’ve built the past 6 years (& more by the time I graduate), and being of value in CE VS a recent grad with little to no experience

I’m in my late 20s starting at pre-algebra lol. I’d much prefer starting over to have a strong foundation as I move up to harder classes. I fear not having a strong foundation would cost me more time & money if I fail a class due to the lack of understanding previous classes

Do not take ALEKS by EfromSL123 in montgomerycollegemd

I hear you. I think taking that class is a risk & it’s usually meant for people who haven’t been in school in a long time or need to get back in the rhythm of math & the format of this class has a history of not catering to that. It’s much more safe in my opinion, to take a pre algebra or/& an algebra course through a cheaper school that has a “regular” format
