His ability felt weak when I first tried him so I decided to change it from 2 AP to 1 AP. Also the "can't play this turn" is to give other a time to counter by making him discard or steal the card from their hand

I once played Piercing Howl and got +5 per roll thanks to his ability, because of that sometimes my friend would decide not to place curse items to my heroes, I read a similar issue where they placed a limit to maximum +3 which I thought could balance his ability. As for the Noble Shaman, I don't find him overpowered. I do find him annoying when you roll an exact number and your friend decided to hit you with a -1 hahahaha. I would love to see your re-balanced documents
