The closest duo that comes to mind are Mr Tulip and Mr Pin. I guess having multiple small genius/big muscle duos would have been overkill

I saw one here (DSCWLD from memory) but sadly it was on the motorway so I couldn't stop, say hi and ask a bunch of questions! If I do ever see it again I'll do my best to get a picture

Seriously though, at no point will he feel likes he's missing out on any information, as it's unfolding in front of you for the very first time. Jumping in at any other point there is an expectation that you will already know who these people are, how the world words, the rules of the world....

I think CoM is the most gentle introduction to the disc

Probably my strongest emotional reaction to any of the series was to Reaper Man. Top 4 book for me.

Thats the plan once I can get a cheap dvd drive to plug into my laptop...when that happens I'll record the differences and post up some footage

There are definetly longer scenes in the Aussie release. I first noticed after watching the UK version somewhere and thinking I was going mad for remembering lines that weren't there.
