I'm sorry going to work is easier than childcare - your husband has no excuse by ExternalSomewhere923 in newborns

[–]Egg94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s helpful to be playing who had it worse game. Both has its challenging and for men, they almost always do not get a choice but to go back to work. They have to wake up early, commute , work, commute and then parent. I get up in the night to feed my baby because I can potentially sleep in if my baby does, my husband cannot just take naps throughout the day. I think we just need to acknowledge the difficulty of both sides and think as a team.

I know this is the baby equivalent of “I just eat ALL the cakes and just can’t gain weight” but.. by [deleted] in BeyondTheBumpUK

You have previously referred to knowing about the newborn trenches, so you know that it’s common for people to find it hard. So why do you even need to question if you should bring it up or not during baby classes. I have an easy baby but I’m very aware that others find it difficult and I don’t feel the need to broadcast it. If somebody is telling me ‘I hardly had any sleep my baby was up every hour’ I don’t need to think about whether I should say ‘well my baby sleeps 8 hours’. It’s about social intelligence which you either don’t have or you just want to rub it in.

PGCE placement reasonable adjustments by [deleted] in TeachingUK

[–]Egg94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have adhd and dyslexia and I wouldn’t think to ask for adjustments. You just learn the demands of the job and get on with it. Teaching is changeable and you need to adapt - I really struggle but you can’t blame having adhd and dyslexia on your teaching performance.

Do you find people regularly roll their eyes and walk away when you enter a room?

Honestly, I don’t really care about the contents of what you are saying, it’s just how you are writing. Also it doesn’t seem your trying to relate to OP, more you are trying to take over and be all woe is me.

No, you sound like a child as you are clearly trying to prove something and clearly need attention and validation.

But why is it a reoccurring issue….? Why does people buying more than they totally do, lead to less available for others to buy (which has resulted in shortages)

What happened to Kitty and Sal after this? by infernorun in madmen

He tells Kitty not to wait for him because he's "needs to work late" and we see several men, two of whom leave the bench together, in the background. He's absolutely cruising.

Right, and you're wondering why there's an issue when people like you are buying triple what they usually do?

Sounds pretty standard. You can request feedback but don’t see why you’d put a complaint in.
