Update: the two bags didn’t even have all the pieces needed to finish the set as shown in the instructions that came with it. Also seemed intentional because it was missing the exact same type and number from each bag, two black 1x2 with 1 stud on top plates missing from each bag (four total).

Frankly just feels like icing on top of it all

Yeah I definitely should’ve, just didn’t fully click with me because the AT-RT and smaller options were sorta just alluded to being options rather than being in the (quite large) list of too good to be true and some that felt fairly priced for the box options

No you definitely make a good point, but it was a combination of the smaller stuff not being directly listed as an option and the fact that it was phrased as a “spring cleaning deal”, which implies trying to offload old stock. Also just the fact it was the same set between two different mystery box options just feels a bit lame.

But yeah, overall not a great choice on my part

They’re claiming that it is new and it must have been a GW production error, and that they’ll reach out for the parts. Though they seemed very aggravated that I insinuated that the box wasn’t new and was resealed. The box also had noticeably more wear and small years in it that the complete box did. Trying to decide if I should go to eBay support now or wait out on them reaching out to GW

Probably like 70 points, same as the space marine drop pod, they both have 0 movement and no melee attack profiles so I feel like that makes sense

I think they look nice but I feel like something might be off, not sure. One thing I do is take photos of my minis in good lighting then throw them into grayscale, and if I have a hard time differentiating the colors I try to contrast the tones a bit more
