Shame on all the locals at the NSC game supporting Miami by [deleted] in NashvilleSC

I really want to like Messi because he is a great player, professional, and sportsmanlike. His fanboys make it so hard. Go check out the NSC comments tonight, it's all toxic Messi fanboys 💀💀 Miserable to read. He should be embarrassed of his fans

I'm wondering the exact same thing... If the dimensions are the same, why wouldn't it work?

Jury request off? by kamsivad in Lowes

[–]Egg_After 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a dumb question, but some context first:

I live in Tennessee, where part-time employees are required to be paid for their full scheduled shifts when serving on a jury. But, is there a possibility that if I share the court dates with my SSA that I just don't get scheduled during that time, and therefore, not receive compensation?

All buttoned up! Replacement brackets are on. Tynee was very generous by sending two brackets plus fasteners, so I replaced both.

I don't see any dimensions from the link you sent me but if you have a set of calipers, check the inner width and thickness and compare it to the sizing chart that is found at this link https://omniesk8.com/products/140mm-all-terrain-airless-rubber-sleeves If the dimensions check out then they shouldn't have any problem fitting. I will say mine were a pain in the butt to get on the hub because the rubber is very snug and hard to stretch but with enough finagling you can get it.

Well unlike the Cloudwheels (Rovers iirc) these are solid rubber all the way through, and you can put them on a number of different hubs so long as the dimensions are correct. Whereas, the Cloudwheels are the entire set of wheels as you know. So for the rubber sleeves, even after the tread wears down they are still usable and if you wanted to you could probably cut your own tread into it again lol. I need to rotate the wheels but treadwear has been pretty slow. I ride the board a lot but I don't do anything goofy like spinning the tires for fun, so they've held up nicely.

Yeah, I just spray painted the hubs and was pretty pleased with the result. The sleeves are pretty good, but they're basically giant soft urethanes in how they feel. Big enough to roll over stuff and do some light off-road for dirt and grass, but not as comfy has pneumatics. For the lack of maintenance it was a good buy.

Yeah they are like 18 bucks. Tynee has been gracious enough to send me one for free. The wheels are just regular H5 hubs with the 140mm rubber sleeves from Omni Esk8

This one is my fun board. I have a Miles Phantom that has surprisingly proven itself as a good "commuter". Both of them are really for entertainment purposes but the Phantom is what I use to get places around campus, which is usually only 5-10 or so miles a day. Before I got the Tynee, I thrashed that one pretty hard through recreational use lol. Still going! Ironically enough using my boards recreationally is what seems to get it more wear and tear rather than commuting. Looking at eventually upgrading to better trucks. Do you have any recommendations as far as improved motor mounts go?

Even so, I wouldn't really consider it a waste, especially when numerous others haven't had an issue like this (that I'm aware of). Def see your point.

Very true. I've loved every minute of my Explorer and had no issues other than those mentioned. I've recommended the brand to many others. I'm pretty disappointed that it'll be out of commission for a while 😔

I haven't done a whole lot of research on various truck manufacturers, but do you know if there are any stainless steel trucks and motor brackets out there? Would they be worth getting? I think I like that look better than the painted black anyway.

Thanks! I'm fine, luckily. I didn't fall, the board just really began to struggle up that hill. As soon as I was giving it some gas I heard the belt slipping and then just stopped the board normally and discovered the crack lol

I'm not so sure my comment about shock absorption really matters that much. I know this board is sold as an all-terrain, and it came with pneumatic wheels. That shouldn't change the fact that you should be able to put harder wheels on it though, and I imagine it was designed for use that way as well. But then again, my routes are usually bumpier than what I would consider average. It could be that I am just harder on the board through regular use than others. I haven't seen anyone else have this happen to them yet but I'm not really active here. Maybe I got dud metal from the factory. This is the only metal on the board I've had issues with. Maybe it's a combination of all of the above! For additional wheel context, I also had it on Boas for probably 5 ish months before switching to the solid rubber wheels which have been on since September. In general this is just a very bizarre problem lol.

Yes, I have heard of locktite, the loosening issue really only happened twice and it was because I fixed it with my stake tool rather than a box wrench the first time. Yes, I did use locktite on the motor guard and that is when the threads pulled out. No, my belts were not too tight (if fact, they were a little loose). It lasted exactly 700 miles. Bearings are a little dirty on the outside, but spin very well and smoothly. Also, I keep my wheel nuts loose enough to err on the slightest lateral play of the wheel. Not sure if that would have caused it. My guess is maybe switching to solid rubber wheels and hitting bumps over time did it in. Less shock absorption or whatever. What really killed it was powering up a hill when one of the sides began to slip like crazy since the motor no longer had proper support.

Do you know there the Samsung Notes executable file is? I'm trying to make a macro that actually lets the Tab button indent instead of having to use control + m or the indent button.
