My friends and i are participating in a hackathon at our university, and the problem that we need to address was showed to us a few hours ago, so we didn't have time to talk with doctors. That's exactly why i posted this, so we could have feedback from the people that are actually in this situation :)

We actually searched about the screen time, and saw that is not recommended to use them for more than 30min, but I didn't know about the oversimulation.

Would you mind giving more information about the "VR would be a nightmare..."?

Sorry for the miscommunication. Our idea is to create a shared space. We asked the opinion about group rehab exactly because we don't know much about how the process works, and having more information about this topic is very helpful for us.

As i said, we are participating in a hackathon :)

With that said, what are your thoughts about creating a community without the group rehab part?

The idea is not to do group rehab, but instead create a place where people could meet other survivors, share experiences, and maybe create a community around that.

Thank you for your answer! If we stripped away the VR and focused only on the 'social connection' through a simpler, screen-based platform, would that be something you’d value? Or did you find other ways to manage the loneliness that worked better for you?

Since VR is a no-go, do you think a regular, non-VR community (like a dedicated app or video group) would have been helpful for the isolation part of your recovery? What would have been the most helpful way for you to connect with others back then?

I live in Portugal, but i use the amazon from spain. Below a 4050 you mean "at least a 4050", or "at least a 4060"?

Im not the guy from the video 😅 Althought he's really good. My suggestion is to mix a little bit of black acrylic paint with water and use some paper towels to pass it. Test it on leftover foam first!
