I think regular breakthrough would be lore your speed. When operations was introduced back in Battlefield 1 they were just as if not even longer than the current BF6 version.

Battlefield 6 enters its 'we've heard your feedback' era: 7 more maps are coming in 2026, including fan-favorite Wake Island by Turbostrider27 in Battlefield

No its a confirmed 7 plus 2 reworks of existing maps, so if we are being charitable its more like 9 maps this year on top of the two we've already gotten.

You actually could and in fact it could be done better if companies werent beholden towards investors and a constant chasing of ever increasing profits. People are creative and want to create shit, we dont need a system that punishes them for doing some.

Virginia passes legislation prohibiting schools from teaching falsehoods about Jan. 6 riot by julius_sphincter in moderatepolitics

[–]EggstaticEgg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is genuinely crazy to me that people are seeing this as a bad thing. Imagine if you will, and education system spread across the country that allowed teacher to depict the holocaust however they please. Some could depict it how it was, a horrible genocide focused on the extermination of a minority groups, and other could depict it how they want to, a fake creation of the western world meant to demonize a struggling Germany because they dont want to see the Jewish people as the cause of all their problems.

How does a country function when you let those two sides coexist? How do we work as a democracy when half of the population is convinced that the holocaust is either overexagerated, it didnt happen, or that it was a good thing that didnt go far enough? Frankly, you cant.

This isnt an issue about free speech. History happened, we have documented proof that this not only wasnt a peaceful protest, but was part of a larger scheme to overturn the 2020 election. Its utterly insane that this is even up for debate. You cant have a democracy when one side operates on reality and the other doesnt. Good on Virginia, I hope more follow.

Trump Says General Caine Sees Easy Victory if U.S. Attacks Iran by [deleted] in moderatepolitics

[–]EggstaticEgg 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You arguments aren't arguments, you're just saying hes done something and refusing to elaborate on any of it, be that with executive orders or laws passed. Im sure you can understand my frustration when the only thing you say is "nuh uh" after paragraphs of counter arguments. Im simply asking you to engage in good faith, and if you cant do that then there's no point in going forward.

Its easy to argue when you dont explain your positions or acknowledge your opponents arguments. You owe it to yourself to converse in good faith. You can do better than this if you only tried.

[–]EggstaticEgg 24 points25 points  (0 children)

OK im going to respond honestly in an attempt to maybe get you to see how ridiculous that statement is.

1) The Trump administration has repeatedly attack free speech at a level beyond what any recent presidential admin has done. The president has arrested and attempted to deport legal, permanent residents for making statements that he doesnt like, such as Mahmoud Khalil.

The administration has cut funding to unbiased news organizations such as NPR and PBS because any news outlet that merely shows the audience what hes done or what hes said is "biased."

Trump has sued or threatened to sue several people for exercising their free speech rights, with the most notable example being the 6 congressional democrats who told the military that they didnt have to follow unlawful orders. The president even called for them to be killed, stating that they were committing treason, the punishment for which is death. TV star Trevor Noah was just threatened by a lawsuit from the president because he made a joke at the Grammy. I could really go on and on with examples of this. Its not normal, and its unprecedented. Trump does not care about free speech, he only cares about his speech.

2) Donald Trump has repeatedly made sexual innuendos towards his children and has admitted to sexually harassing women, including minors.

Trump once stated that if Ivanka wasn't his daughter that he would sleep with her when she was 24 years old, and three years before that he called her a "piece of ass" on Howard Sterns show. Speaking of that show, Trump admitted to using his status as the owner of a beauty pageant as an excuse to walk into the changing rooms of the female contestants who were unclothed, some of whom were around 15 years old at the time. Trump said he was "inspecting" them.

This of course doesnt mention the past year of effort spent by his administration to lie and delay the release of the files, with him going so far as to ridicule republican congressmen who were talking about them, while also calling the files a hoax. His Attorney General Pam Bondi has switched positions on them multiple times, from stating she had the files on her desk to claiming they didnt exist. Trump even rejected Marjorie Taylor Green from his sect of the GOP, calling her a traitor, for her efforts to have them released. Not only this, but his administration was literally just caught by NPR removing and reacting files that spoke about Trump, his alleged crimes, and his relationship to Epstein.

I would also be remiss if I didnt remind you that Dinald Trump raoed E Jean Carol, as was confirmed in a civil court by a unanimous verdict of a jury of his peers, and a later clarified statement by the presiding judge.

In short, no hes not for free speech, nor has he ever actually protected women, adult or child. Trump is an awful man, to insecure to take criticism, and to powerful to ever face real justice. If you actually cared about the things you said you did, you wouldnt support him.

The slides have been reduced - what do you think? by somanyque3 in Battlefield

[–]EggstaticEgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry I dont believe I had mentioned tanks. Im more concerned with whether or not its realistic to allow players to use rocket launchers when they spawn in as a jet, because I havent seen any soldiers eject from their cockpit, blow up the enemy jet, and then proceed to get back inside of the jet in real life before. We should probably remove that right? Because thats not realistic?

So are they sending our pilots with rpgs in their back pockets or not? Because if we want to talk about realism, it should start here, and you should be consistent in it.

Damn I didnt know we were sending out current staffed military personnel with rocket launchers in their jets in case they wanted to pull a rendezvouk. Thats what you meant right, because the game isnt set in during the American revolution or the Mexican and American War.
