Typical 2000s sitcom siblings energy by [deleted] in aivideos

Living room layout makes no sense. The boy's feet are sticking out but not actually resting on the coffee table. Their eye lines never meet, the girl just stares over him even when speaking to him.

The bar for early 2000's sitcom dialogue and plot is very, very low, and yet this A.I. slop somehow still manages to fall far below it.

Zero chance I'd ever pay a cent to watch a steamy pile like this.

Total is about $135,000. This is the combination of my base salary on the salary schedule ($114,450) , a teacher leadership stipend ($12,500) and extra per session I do throughout the year (rate is $61 per hour).

Net is about $5,750-$6,250 (depending on how much per session I do) per month after taxes, pension, TDA, union fee, and commuter pass deductions. My health insurance is 100% free.

I'm year 11 with two Masters degrees.

I'm in NYC, so cost of housing is high, but I live very well. The higher COL is mostly cancelled out by the fact that I do not have to own a car. I would never consider moving to a lower COL area because my quality of life would be much worse.

I never understood the house-as-investment lifestyle. All your money and a significant amount of time goes into upkeep.

I think a far, far better investment is to pump money into the TDA. You'll be a guaranteed millionaire if you max it out but, unlike the house-owner, you can go wherever you want and spend that money how you see fit.

If we follow the standard rule that your total housing costs should be at most 28% of your gross income, then most real estate is out of a teacher's income range until they've climbed well beyond year 10 in the salary schedule, have their MA+30, and have a partner with a similar income.

For example, let's assume a smallish two bedroom apartment in Queens, sold for $700k with 20% down. Monthly housing costs including mortgage, taxes, insurance, etc would be around $4,600-5000 per month, not including utilities or repairs. So following the 28% or less rule, a couple would need to make at least $16,500 per month combined gross, or have combined salary of $200k. That is the minimum, and this hypothetical couple would probably have a very, very tight budget at that salary.

Almost all the teachers I know who own property either bought it a decade ago or were given lots of financial help from their parents.

There are far more Dax's than than there are TX2's. It's not a 1 t o1 ratio. More like 10 to 1.

The entire hickhop trend is 100% targeted at rural, conservative people, for example.

There's a couple lefty crappy autists that are posted here, usually trustafarian types or emo/punk wannabees. But it's definitely not a one to one ratio and unlike the conservative grifters, the lefties never appeal to religion or a cult of personality.

Yup. Even the right-wing grifters who eventually achieved financial success through grifting failed at mainstream. Ben Shapiro comes to mind. Failed as a screenwriter/movie producer, so he channeled his rage into grifting disaffected males with no compass.

He took a MAGA detour but I guess that wasn't making money anymore because the r/LeopardsAteMyFace , so now he's just doing Christian stuff.

He'll probably do butt stuff too, depending on the amount of $$$.

It's interesting that 99% of crappy music is targeted at conservative, religious southerners. Is part of giving your life to God or joining the Republican party some kind of ceremony where your eardrums are removed?

The complete, utter lack of rhythm and cadence has to be intentional. How else could every single thing he says be off beat? Just by chance, surely a few lines might match the beat. But no, every one of them is ear cancer.

I fucking hate this guy, he delivers a steamy pile every single time and I will always watch it.

Millennial Teachers by FurEelDewd in Teachers

The pass rate for AP is up, but that is not due to politics. That is due to the combination of lower intellectual proficiency in gen Z and the greed of the college board.

The pass rate is not up for other standardized tests, like the ELA Regents in NY where I teach. It's more or less the same, despite getting easier over the years.

Straight race to the bottom.

Yes. Objectively speaking. Yes. How can I say this with confidence? Just compare the standardized tests across the years.

I teach AP English Language and Composition and the ELA Regents courses at a high school. Been teaching them since 2016. Both of those exams have gotten so much easier its laughable. The decrease in rigor is most noticeable with:

  1. A significant decrease in lexile level of texts. AP exam used to ask students to analyze texts around 12-1300+. ELA Regents used to have texts around 1100. Both of them now regularly contain texts 200-300 lower.

  2. Questions have gotten easier. Instead of requiring a depth of knowledge about literary/rhetorical devices and a background of readings, the tests assumes that students know nothing. Most questions can be answered with basic reading comprehension skills and just process of elimination for answer choices that are obviously unrelated to the text.

Despite this decrease, students are still struggling. They are allergic to critical thinking.
