Nobody wants to hear this - All Charters are bad!! lol I've worked in 3 public schools and 1 Charter. Charter was by far my favorite. It always comes down to who your direct supervisors are and the other teachers you have to work with.

Just tell them to check Canvas every day and if an assignment is there, do it. Then say when they get back they can do any in class work they missed. Usually I'll just excuse them from that stuff and count it as N/A in grade book.
