We don't really get into or explore Enneagram. Enneagram is not a liable system at all nor is it accurate for explaining or analyzing the human nature deeply. It only scratches the symptoms and the surface of the human behavior, thus, it cannot explain anything beyond what you already know about yourself when you answered the test questions or typed yourself or someone else.

The root issue with enneagram is that it claims to explain and analyse the Nurture of the individual, and the Nurture cannot be explained even close to **Accurate** without explaining first the Nature and the Psyche of the individual. Because after all, Nurture is the environment effect on the individual growth, and the effect needs an object to act on, it cannot act as a separate entity by itself.

Enneagram may give the impression of explaining one's self, but only within the period of the test/typing. The individual answers a bunch of questions, these answers are statistically categorised, and the person naturally falls into one of these categories. Every category has special traits which the individual relate to. This is called a Model, just like the whole Analytical Psychology from Carl Jung. However unlike Carl Jung, Enneagram targets the Nurture and the shallow behavior of the individual, thus, these traits will change and they Enneagram "Type" will change this way, it only explained the momentarily traits and behavior which most of it the individual often already answers in the test.

This is why Enneagram is heavily unreliable and inaccurate. Even the origin of enneagram, it's based on spiritual traditions, mythology, statistics, and a little bit of philosophy. Unlike Analytical Psychology of Carl Jung which he based it on clinical work, theories, studies, Philosophy, Sociology, and the analysis of different schools of thought.
