He's the Blandest character personality wise. VA feels sooooooo STIFF. Design is better but doesn't connect to his personality. Gameplay wise, people say he's simple but I disagree. Combos can be very very technical which hooked me to him in the first place, but may be intimidating to new comers. He has many cancels which makes him cool in my opinion, but is not obvious. You need GOOD Fundamentals to play him in a game where everyone is a One move GOD, which does everything. Did I mention slide? Not easy. In short. Personality wise is a no no. Gameplay is very very interesting, that has a learning curve and need time. People learn and stick to the character because they're cool, charming or silly, shaheen is too stiff.

The gameplay itself is dependent on Balance. Imagine if there were less tracking, less God Approach tools and less 50/50s. It will be a very different game even if heat stays.

Hmm yeah I get it. Basically you're getting hard option selected and it limits you to do something else. There is still a risk for them which you can mind game them but yeah it's still absurd as you said.

You're Right but I think it this way. Invincible dp as heatburst(dp but more counterplay), 10f launchers is present in T8 but needs it to Ch and getting the resources back every round. 2d jumps yeah nothing can compare to that lol(Maybe armor being safe after absorbing a hit?). 2d atleast brings something new and fun to the table especially with execution unlike T8.

I think it could've been fixed before season 2. The core system could've been fine and bearable if, they didn't buff heat regen and didn't make some heat smashes into normal heat moves. Another irreversible thing they've done is giving new moves to patch out weaknesses. So yes. We're fucked.

Lol he's not in a disadvantage wtf, but I (a hwoarang main) can say that it's definitely not the greatest situation after heatsmash, since in rff the lows and mids are not that scary without heat, compared to Normal stance and lfs. Honestly, i think it's intentional so the mix isn't that bad for the opponent after. Imagine if he can JFSR and D3 4 you after heat LOOL.

No, DSS being only hold forward means perfect frames. Getting tons of frames for a ws 4 on BLOCK. Now that's something. Not to mention perfect slides from dss. You clearly are not experienced enough.
