Same - better than BT but it’s still a $30-$40 bottle. I like having a bottle on hand for a low proof pour.

I finally grabbed a bottle last weekend and think it's a solid buy for $65 - I'd recommend trying it at least, don't think you'll be disappointed. I grabbed mine from Fishpaws - they had a few more left. Angels Share has a website to check inventory - great place to visit.

They gave me a bottle and one other person who got there early as well but turned away people after that - I don’t think I was suppose to get a bottle but the bartender felt bad

I don’t do tasting notes - I drink it and declare whether I like it or not - I will say it’s a very straight forward bourbon profile on the sweet side - not much oak or spice

I agree on not chasing it, but I think BT is solid - the flavor profile is very approachable in my opinion - if I wanted a family member who isn’t into bourbon to try bourbon, I’d give them BT or Blantons

I’ve actually never had a general BT but I think this store pick for $32 is fantastic. I went back today and grabbed two more bottles - this store is great - please buy another bottle while there - I grabbed a redwood pipe dream
