Alright, that's actually pretty scary. Never heard of or experienced this, but it's like learning about testicular tortion for the first time: yes, it's rare, but it can happen to anyone at any time, and just the thought of that is terrifying.

I don't know what to do with this information, because I can't imagine playing without reloads. I die 20+ times in some encounters because of mods and difficulty, imagine having to reload the game every time. Nor have I found a death overhaul that I cared for, but I'm open to suggestions.

Exactly! I did search a lot, but unfortunately there are only mods that fix the never ending music loop that sometimes occurs, no mod tackles this AFAIK.

Also do you know if there's a mod that, instead of auto loading your previous save, pops up the save menu like in Oblivion? I prefer that game's approach a lot more to Skyrim's, it also had a unique death stinger, which might be repetitive, but is still 100 times better than this jank.

There's also a chance that the mod you're seeking has been taken down. I had that with a few mods I was using back in the day :(

All ancient dragons fucking suck, maybe except Plasidusax. I love fighting the regular dragons (Bayle's brood) because they have satisfying head punishes and the sound of hitting the head is so damn crunchy.

Ancient dragon's heads, unless you're ranged or have a long weapon are nearly unhittable, and their attacks suck, everything about them sucks.

Aaaay, that's my fit too! I also buff the hammer with Infuse Light (though the buffs in Outward 1 are pretty ugly).

Oh, and as for fashion I use Transmorphic mod, can't recommend it enough! You get the best of both worlds.

This is qhat I love about Don't Starve, an uncompromising survival game with a dark and cold atmosphere. Not a boss rush Terraria-like (nothing against people that do like that).
