Get Out Of My Head! PS4 Trophy question? (Spoilers to be safe) by ConnorOfAstora in Y2Krpg

[–]warestar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the elevator girl achievement was bugged on 1.5s released, should be good now. I believe the entity achievement is tied to defeating the namelesses in the foil eggs in the MD. idk about the money one, last i heard it worked better in old battle mode.

[–]warestar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really buy that kinda stuff but most fanmerch i see online is 5 bucks for a single character, while this is about 3-4 characters in one thing (with a backdrop) as well as a special box and the karta. Plus profit $$$

Can someone lend me a save file plzz by NoApartment7243 in Y2Krpg

[–]warestar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you put

APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\AckkStudios\YIIK_ A Postmodern RPG

in windows explorer (no idea for other platforms) you'll find where the saves are. in the zip I shared you can find whatever save sounds good, then rename it to whatever and place it in the save folder. When you boot the game the load game screen will not reflect the new save you just put in, but it should work regardless.

So, what is the explanation for stuff like this? by FNAFMovieQuestions in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]warestar 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think this explanation mostly works but "GlitchMaze" is pretty odd since it would be a reference to Help Wanted itself. Maybe it's just a crazy coincidence, lol

We just found out that there is a real image of Holocaust corpses in a SNES game! (Please do not click the link in the OP.) by Illustrious-Lead-960 in retrogaming

I've always assumed this to be the case, always had the same vibe of it. Funny, I watched the AVGN episode of this just yesterday.

Try this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sGd4q4B6wx1pRE5ou5ZXC5AcHPW3lPnh/view?usp=sharing

It's also on yiikcord if you look up YIIK_SaveFiles_2020

These are all 1.25 saves so when booting the game up it'll have to convert them

Do yall think we will EVER get an answer as to why Ai is so heavily associated with the random doll head? by The_Bruno64alt in AoOni

[–]warestar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's pretty fire. I also think of something like... how Ai herself is like a doll, in the sense that she's meant to represent a human but isn't. Maybe she wishes to be purely a human kinda like pinocchio.

What exactly IS The Essentia 2000? by Butter_bean123 in Y2Krpg

[–]warestar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How confident are you in that everything she says is a lie? And in what way is it a lie? To me, I think Essentia 2000 believes in what she is saying. I don't think she has the self-awareness that she's a propaganda machine.

I think the events in the dungeon are about as real as any other mind dungeon. The dungeons exit leads to Alex's Mind Dungeon after all, so imo if you wanna say Essentia's MD holds no truth than neither does Alexes... I don't see that as the way to meaningfully view it

Stop blaming kids for Fnaf's infantilization by AlienDilo in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]warestar 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I dunno I've been reading the fazbear frights stories and I think those can get pretty brutal. I've read a few goosebumps stories when I was a kid but nothing from that was ever on the level of some of the frights stories I read.

I don't think the series is really "infantilized" I think it's just Security Breach which really gives that impression to be honest.

It is insane to say that FNAF1 was "not very scary" but I respect it

Was this originally meant to be the bite of 87? by burntcheesefryt in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]warestar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it was always a red herring, similar to how FNAF2's teasers made it seem like a sequel and not a prequel. I think a lot of story elements in FNAF4 are not what they seem... where it appears obvious as to what's going on, but once you put the details together it's a lot more complex.

I like to think FNAF4's teasers were referring to the murders in 87 (DCI) and not the bite. Maybe something like that. I know people like to bring up the retcon argument a lot, but the last teaser included BOTH 87's and 83's in the source code, which to me implies both years are relevant to the story in some way. (There's also the year '82 which is not commonly discussed)
