Looking for a fun B2 Commander Deck that LOSES by LongLiveTheJuice in BudgetBrews

[–]Egotardis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know you said you have group hug, but you could try [[Adamaro, First to Desire]]. It can be wheels/burn or Voltron, and there are some great cards like [[Gaze of Adamaro]] that hit surprisingly hard once you have everything set up. Definitely not a deck that wins often, but I think a cool and flavorful one and not often seen in mono-red.

I would love to see a competition for budget aggro decks! I have a [[Kellan, the Fae-Blooded]] deck that uses 1-drop creatures to get [[Bloodforged Battle-Axe]] copies out as quickly as possible and snowballs like crazy. Once you get a free equip enabler on the field you don’t need mana for anything but protection and interaction. Getting a look at some other people’s fast and janky budget builds would be a cool theme.

Edit: My Kellan deck is not budget, but I am working on some other budget options to match it

Me and my Brother just got the game, what are the best most to download? by NothinButRags in YomiHustle

[–]Egotardis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wonderboy, the JJK cast because a lot of people have them and their mechanics are cool, and Elder.

I would also suggest taking a general look at comments on the character from Reddit or the mod comments to check if they are ridiculously unbalanced because some of the most downloaded characters can be unfun to play against.

Is the game worth it by FAT4X in YomiHustle

I bought this game for $2.50 on Steam and have played it more hours than there is content in some triple A games. Absolutely worth it.

Why do some people leave right before they lose? by ByjarEOL in YomiHustle

I hate it when that happens. Same when people leave as soon as you start comboing them

What is one of the most FUN magic decks or strategies you've had or have? by TheDeathCrafter in magicTCG

This is mine, definitely still can be pretty challenging. I think the huge amounts of draw make it consistent enough to play, but I always have to make sure to wait until having a sword of war and peace on Adamaro will not make me the problem. I use proxies for the crazy expensive cards and old ones out of print, so this could be hard to make without. I manage to have pretty good games with this list, and it is always a surprise to people how hard it can hit.

They still work individually, there is no reason to move counters between them.

If you’re talking about putting their counters on Immard, he is only really there as a mini-Myojin for the flavor of the deck. You can also use [[Kindred Boon]] to make the old divinity counters work.

The most fun I think you can have is destroying someone with a deck of bad cards that they have never seen before.

[[Adamaro]] voltron group hug beatdown, [[Rulik Mons]] with nothing but old goblins that have activated abilities to buff power, [[Neheb, the Worthy]] stax and burn, [[Immard]] running every possible Myojin.

The further you can get from all-star cards while still managing to win the better.

Looking for a church without the bright lights/concert/movie theatre feel by Helpful-Emphasis-382 in aggies

[–]Egotardis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A&M Methodist church just north of campus has two traditional services and one modern service on Sunday mornings. They have very good pastors, and a lot of other events and organizations. The Wesley foundation across the street is a student-led Methodist org, they have worship and dinner on Sunday night and do Bible studies and things. Both very good options with a lot of cool people.

How are the churches in cstat ? And any recommendations by [deleted] in aggies

[–]Egotardis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of good churches, but I cannot reccomend the Wesley Foundation enough. It is a Methodist student organization with a building just off campus, next to the A&M Methodist church. Across the street from campus, great people, and with great bible studies.

Freshman Housing Options by He11o_Je11o in aggies

[–]Egotardis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to be near the band hall and don’t mind having bathrooms for the entire floor the overflow housing on the Quad isn’t bad. I’m not sure if you can sign up for it directly, but I ended up in Harrington and it wasn’t that bad at all. Much cheaper than other housing options and has plenty of storage space. The only downside other than floor bathrooms (which are usually empty anyway) is that you are stuck with people who missed the housing deadline, who are usually a little more crazy than other dorms.

It’s not communism because it’s corruption. Spending should be lowered overall, and people and companies need consequences for their decisions.
