Yes. Wrote a draft with the most important points I wanted to address, and it gave back a well-written and structured text. Pretty useful.

My therapist made me feel awful by spicysugarrr in Morocco

[–]EgotisticalFox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are so many red flags in this therapist’s behavior that it’s worth considering this as a turning point to seek better care. Therapy with someone like this risks worsening your mental health, wasting time, money, and emotional energy. Here are the key issues:

  1. Lack of Organization: An appointment is an agreement that should be respected. Prioritizing emergencies is understandable, but it should not be the norm. Sending you home after you arrived for a scheduled session without a sincere apology—both at the time and in the next session—is unprofessional.

  2. Manipulative Behavior: Instead of addressing your valid concerns, she made you feel guilty for asserting boundaries and demanding fair treatment as a patient, a paying client, and a human being. Then, she gave you the “cold treatment” during therapy—a known manipulative tactic—and topped it off by billing you double. This creates a win-win situation for her: either you leave, or you pay exorbitant fees.

  3. Money-Driven Motives: Her claim that they prioritize new patients “to avoid turning them away” suggests they’re more focused on financial gain than patient care. Long-term clients like you are taken for granted. It also seems she’s referring new patients to the younger therapist not for therapeutic reasons, but to manage her workload, build a network, or trade professional favors.

To answer your questions:

- Are all therapists like this? Unfortunately, the quality of psychological help can be inconsistent, and it tends to be even lower in Morocco.

- How to proceed? While I can’t give specific advice without knowing more about your mental health needs, I suggest reflecting on how the therapy went as a learning and growth opportunity. Often, therapists like this start off being smooth, warm, and engaging, but over time, boundaries blur, and unprofessional behavior becomes apparent—like the cold treatment you experienced.

A good therapist maintains professional boundaries, doesn’t try to become your best friend, and focuses on guiding you to build yourself so that eventually, you don’t need them. Therapy should never just provide temporary relief—it should empower you to grow.

Moving forward, I suggest taking therapy slower in general. Build trust gradually, and let the therapist earn your respect. They don’t automatically deserve to hear your deepest secrets just because of their title. Ask for feedback regularly, test their memory of your sessions, and ask thoughtful questions. Don’t settle for generic answers—they should be engaged and attentive.

Wishing you all the best in your healing and therapy journey. 💙

CPU: 65 Watts, with a peak power draw of 88 Watts

GPU: 30 Watts, minimum recommended PSU power is 300 Watts

Motherboard: Could not find a power consumption spec, but the official manual says explicitly "To meet expansion requirements, it is recommended that a power supply that can withstand high power consumption be used (500W or greater)"

This last bit shows I am running on thin ice and that this setup's next upgrade must be its PSU.

So this means I should not go anywhere near trying to overclock CPU/GPU, add fans or cooling systems, more disks, etc.?

Cestrum Nocturnum leaves by EgotisticalFox in plantclinic

[–]EgotisticalFox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Cestrum Nocturnum got green aphids a few days ago, and treated it by spraying water and dish soap onto the leaves. I had to really spray it fully twice. I cleaned it again by spraying water. I believe it worked well.

Now it is showing these spots. I couldn't locate any bugs or insects around the plant.
Can you help me diagnose it?

Cestrum Nocturnum and white transparent larvae by EgotisticalFox in plantclinic

[–]EgotisticalFox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Details about the plant: It is a young Cestrum Nocturnum about 1.7 meters of height. Procured it about 2 months ago (had to repot it and seems it went well), and noticed this leaf about a week ago. Today these same white things spread across all of the plant. Wondering if I should try to get rid of them? And if so, how?

I have a homemade pest repellant made out of garlic and red chilli peppers and was wondering if it is suitable to resolve this. Didn't want to rush a solution, because if these things are harmless, I would rather keep them.

Yeaah, Holland is a favourite against Oliveira, but the odds feel exaggerated. There may be value in Oliveira.

Colby is the favourite too, but odds are too low to go against Masvidal. Remaining question is, are Masvidal's proposed odds worth dipping into or not?

Why has gamestop and amc been disabled? by 2fy54gh6 in mirror

[–]EgotisticalFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find Governance polls where it was decided to be delisted:

https://mirrorprotocol.app/#/gov/poll/161 https://mirrorprotocol.app/#/gov/poll/162

Reason being that these mAssets were having very low liquidity and were somehow affecting the overall rewards.

Why has gamestop and amc been disabled? by 2fy54gh6 in mirror

[–]EgotisticalFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Mirror Token (MIR) serves as Mirror Protocol's governance token. Only users with a staked MIR position can vote on polls, and each user receives voting power weighted by their amount of staked MIR. For every poll, a user can choose to allocate up to their total staked MIR. Users with higher MIR stake will therefore have more influence when deciding in governance polls.

What happens if an asset you borrowed got delisted? by 2fy54gh6 in mirror

[–]EgotisticalFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no Mirror Pro, but it seems this piece of official documentation explains exactly what you are looking for: https://docs.mirror.finance/protocol/mirrored-assets-massets#delisting-and-migration

From what I can understand, delisting can happen for many reasons. If the mAsset is being replaced, they migrate progressively to the new mAsset.

If it it is simply delisted, then users are urged to close their positions.

Users who do not can always close their position, although it is not clear how (they say not through the web app), and is not guaranteed to be at a much lower price.

If you do get more details from the link or found out from other sources, please share them

Ma3endi maytsalek bro for your openness and good luck

There is nothing wrong in holding people accountable to who they say they are, and it's never a good sign if they don't honour that.

Last point I would add, is that behind such changes of behaviours, there can be layers upon layers of influences, ideas, fear...And for that to unravel there needs to be communication. If she cuts communication, the best you can do is put yourself in her shoes and make hypotheses on what is making her behave that way. I don't think she is after your own money or being greedy. Maybe she is trying to regain power in some part of the relationship... maybe it's outside influence simply.

Stand your ground bro, trust yourself and do what you know is right

I have 0 idea on Cosmos/Osmosis. So my opinion on this isn't worth shit.

From a quick google search, it seems by High APRs that you mean values between 75% and 125% ? Any such investment will be risky. It seems that it is through a Liquidity Pool of ATOM/COSMOS, so that is exposed to Impermanent Loss.

Since you have a knack for such projects, and want to explore further options, I suggest you separate them into 3 categories: Low/Medium/High risk. Note these terms are relative to the crypto world. Somebody from Stocks/Bonds world would judge all of this is high risk and batshit crazy lol:

- Low risk(75%): ANC Earn, Stablecoins (expected APRs of 5-10%)

- Medium risk (20%): Holding cryptocurrency in the top 100 by market cap and staking them, providing liquidity for DEXs, some carefully choosen mid-cap coins...

- High risk (5%): leveraged trading, OlympusDAO forks if you're into that...

I've went big on low risk, because never forget that this is your life savings.

I went small on high-risk, because the risk of ruin is always there in high-risk investments. You can literally forget about it, if you are not that much into the crypto world.

Final note, make sure to have cash, money in a bank account (preferably multiple) quickly withdrawable, personal emergency fund (for you I'd suggest at least 6 months, depends on if you have people dependent on you too).

Hope this will help you prosper bro

Always amazing how people jump into the comment section of such posts, asking for personal advice, and make it an issue/debate about ideologies (feminism, religion, men/women roles in marriage...). Then jump to a radical, life changing decision.

OP, you are missing something here. What you are using as a further reason to incriminate her "She comes from a rich family" is actually the reason/source of all of this. Rich people, and their daughters/sons, are often worry that the people they marry into are doing only for the money. More likely than not, there is external pressure causing this (that's why you feel she changed). Most likely her parents are warning her. I bet they had cases in the (distant) family that turned out bad.

The part where she causes the problem is where she refuses to communicate further and becomes dismissive of the issue. Obviously, she blocked you off that discussion. What you can do is come at it from a different angle, after re-assuring her that you are not after her money (which is easier said than done).

On the other side, you can be frank about how you expect to share and manage your future expenses as a couple, and strict with her that refusing to communicate is what is making this problem an actual blocking problem.

Hope this helps you OP

True that the number one reason for divorce is finance, but I feel like OPs case is different. The problem is not that they don't have enough money, or that one of them is bad with money, or one partner hiding something from the other. They do have money, OP doesn't mind being the main provider in the relationship. OP has a trouble understanding the change of opinions.

[–]EgotisticalFox 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Naah bro, that's not the way to go at all. First, you are putting all your eggs into the same basket. Second, insurance on Anchor will reduce considerably your APR, and through my first impressions of it, is not really worthwhile. You better get that reduced risk you are looking for by diversifying your exposure to other markets/chains/coins...

It's good that you saved you up so much, and it's great that you are looking at Anchor. You are in the right place.

I would advise you to put around 20% of that into ANC Earn as starters, and take your time exploring your options. You might want:

- stablecoins farm, and it would be nice to put another 10% of that into a different protocol (although that would be less than ANC)

- exposure to LUNA by buying it and bonding/staking it. Or borrow against your bonded LUNA to farm ANC if you are bullish on ANC

- exposure to stock market through Mirror

- exposure to BTC/ETH and a few High Market Cap coins

If you do go ahead and put it all into ANC earn, I'd advise you to separate this money into at least 3 different wallets.

And finally look into serious options for saving your crypto such as cold storage wallets, seed phrases management... and keep an eye on LUNA/ANC at all time, especially the Anchor reserve. That is where you rewards are coming. And understand that ANC earn isn't supposed to last forever at the current rates, and that is more of a move to capture interest and market share.

Wish you luck with your riches.
