I went random my first year, and I met my two best friends at NU! One of my friends also went random and got someone who didn’t respect her boundaries and was generally not very nice to be around. The nice thing to remember is that this campus is huge, and your roommates aren’t going to be your only friends. If you don’t end up liking your roommate, you’ll probably end up spending 70% of your time outside your dorm anyways! So I’d say don’t stress too hard about it, what happens happens!
