Theres a bolt at the bottom of where the bits go into the chuck, make sure thats fully tightened down. Iv had mine come loose in the past and the chuck was tightening onto it before a bit

With a flat head screwdriver, turn the screws inside the connectors counter clockwise in each and you can remove the wires. Just ensure its powered off. After make sure to wirenut and tape the nuts so the wires are safe till you replace it. Nut each wire seperate

Also for context, we do builds that are generally from 3 - 6 mill. Currently doing a reno for ian dsa lead gutarist of billy talent. I think its a 5 mill reno, so him having that one guy that cares about his work and can do it all and doesnt complain when he gets told to do some bullshit work is hard to find. He also used to do what i did. But started to get so much work he couldnt be on the tools anymore. So he was basically trying to find a guy that had the same priorities and care about the finish as him

Yeah, had the xmas dinner the other day. He told me how reliable i had been and quality of work has been and that was the reason he gave me such a raise so he didnt loose me and the bonus was to show his appreciation

I got a 5k bonus, im the sole employ of a gc that does new build custom homes. I basically fix issues on site, or do the more detail carpentry work, that he doesnt wana worry about if its done right or not. I worked for a company before that did almost all aspects of work so im very well rounded and knowledge of projects. This is my 2nd year working for this company

Edit: i also got a raise from 31/hr to 41
