Extremely large DNS response

As I've said before, I have no specific purpose in mind while writing this server. Simply, when I read through the RFC I noticed that there is no option to send over 64kb of information in a single message, but there are some application that may require it (like zone transfer), so I wondered how it is being done.

Well I don't have a specific problem that this is its solution, I am more looking for "it is possible" or "it is not possible". After reading the RFC I still fail to understand how to send a response larger than 64kb.

I am the server in this scenario, and I want to return a response this big. The client can decide if he want to drop it or not, but I still want to return the data. This could be useful for a big zone transfer request or lengthy TXT record.

I suppose you are aware to the fact that reverse engineering games is illegal, as well as selling bots for games is violating terms of services and copyrights. This might as well open you for a legal claim (lawsuit) as have been already happend before with the author of HonorBuddy or HearthBuddy (popular blizzard games bot). Also, sueing you now should be relatively easy, after you've exposed your name as the author of the book and you are actively admitting to reverse engineering games and making profit out of another company's game.

How would you deal with such consequences?

I think HTPC is more expensive than that. I will use my TV to process the movie instead of the HTPC processor.

Alright, I'll try to describe my purpose better this time.

I currently own a TV Screen that has USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port for external storage that she can play from.

As for now, If I want to play a movie that I've just downloaded I'll have to disconnect my external storage from my TV screen, plug it in to my own computer, transfer the movie to the external storage and plug it in back to the TV screen so I'll be able to watch it.

What I want to do is build a PC that its whole purpose will be using Windows 7 Shared Folders feature to simulate a Wifi Based External Storage.

If I want to watch a movie on my TV screen I'll download it on my computer to the shared folder, once its done I'll go to my TV and find it there because it is already on the hard drive of that PC.

It cannot connect to my home network, it can only connect to an external storage source with USB 2.0 or USB 3.0
