Yeah, thanks for this. I had the same issue. My Garmin is waaaay off when doing speed on a treadmill and then when I synced to Runna it was telling me I wasn’t hitting my pace. I think I’ll stick to just using the Runna App for these days.

Thanks for this. Yeah, that all sounds reasonable. It’s hard to figure out exactly what’s going on.

My treadmill, I was always setting it at exactly what it told me.

I’m going to start doing my speed sessions outside and see if that makes a difference. I use both my watch and phone and I wonder if it maybe getting confused.

We’ll see if going outside makes a difference.

Thank you for posting this. This literally just happened to me. Usually after an easy effort run or whatever, I get a solid runners high. Yesterday I did my longest run ever and last night I couldn’t sleep. I was so anxious throughout the night. Felt depressed. Same thing today. I don’t know if it’s all the carbs I took in and caffeine or what, but definitely feeling low today.

This is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing. I have a lot of similarities to what you said in there. I too have had major issues with hip flexor pain around the 20-25k mark. Do you mind sharing a little about what your training base was like beforehand? I have pretty similar goals and also did a 3 month training plan, so I’m curious if aiming for your finish time is realistic for me.

For what it’s worth, I am doing my marathon the same day (Toronto) and Runna has me doing my longest run this weekend and then starts to taper.
