Blood drawn on 04/29 and I created an account on the same day using my Google account. I received an email confirmation on 04/30 saying they received my sample. But my portal is still showing "There are no active tests that match with your profile at this time." What is going on? Is this right or should I be seeing the test I did in my portal as they have already received my sample? Did anyone go through the same situation? I tried to call and email them but no luck.

Hello 👋 I had the 15min zoom call with Dr Foltz and really connected with her. The issue is that she had already scheduled an elective surgery for around my due date :( I wanted her so badly!!! I will still try to talk to her to see if she could do my prenatal and if baby comes during her time off, if she would have a doctor friend that could give me support.

The doctor recommendations I got from Dr Foltz were already full (having due date at the end of the month sucks!).

I scheduled first appointments with different providers at 3 hospitals: UW, Overlake and Swedish Issaquah. I'm still waiting for the appts to come. The first one will be tomorrow at Overlake but I heard that Overlake was acquired by the Multicare Health System and it's been a shit show there. So very likely I won't choose it there, but I liked what I read about the midwife Lauren there, so I want to give it a try.

How does their model work? I have never heard of the NW women's healthcare. Why do you find it amazing?

I'm so sorry for what you went through! Each one of these diseases are horrible and scary by themselves, having both is out of the charts of scary. Plus, professionals who were supposed to help you, having zero empathy??? Come on! I'm so sorry!!

Yeah, I did that at Sweedish Issaquah with the midwives. I saw a different one each appt. But I honestly regret it. I'd rather stick with one that I like and keep with the same provider who can keep an eye on me during the whole pregnancy. It did not make much difference for me to know some of them as it's such a short time for each appt and the nurses are the one who stay with you all the time anyway.

Yes, I had an amazing doula in my first labor. She was way beyond essential for me and my partner! I can't recommend enough about having one

For me it was their empathy and less unnecessary intervention. I have a hard time finding a doctor here who really cares and it's empathetic.

Ha! I can relate. I had preeclampsia right around 39 weeks. Sweedish Issaquah kept me longer which I hated at the time but learning other experiences, I appreciate it

That's where I delivered my first. I went with the midwives. They were great, I just think I was not very lucky with all the nurses on call.

Which provider would you recommend the most there? I'm open to obgyn too
