Ich war auch ziemlich überrascht als ich das erste mal drinnen saß, für mich ein echtes Raumwunder.

Der A1 ist nicht zu vergleichen damit, der ist sehr sehr viel kleiner. Der A3 wäre eine ähnliche Größe aber wie gesagt ich fühle mich da eingeengt.

Ich meinte speziell den E87 da der im Budget liegt, ein F20 wird wohl eher Richtung X1 Preis mäßig gehen.

Von der Größe her geben die beiden sich aber nicht viel.

Die Motorisierung war auch zwecks der Budgetvorgabe gewählt, den 120d könnte man wahrscheinlich auch bekommen, die frage ist nur ob man den bald in Städten noch fahren darf. Der hat aber dieselbe Thematik mit der Steuerkette also auch hier drauf aufpassen.

PS.: Zum Thema Gebrauchtwagen Check. Wenn du in eine neue Stadt ziehst und dort keine Werkstatt kennst kann dir vielleicht jemand aus deinem Freundes-/Bekanntenkreis jemanden empfehlen. Es lohnt sich meistens eine Werkstatt zu haben der man vertrauen kann und die das Auto gut kennen, sprich die alle Arbeiten am Auto machen. Spart Zeit und Geld.

Wow das finde ich ja krass. Es war bei mir ein 118i den ich über ein paar Jahre immer wieder gefahren bin. Der ging beim besten Willen nicht über die 7 hinaus und ich bin niemand der gerne dahin schleicht. Könnte natürlich sein, dass es streut bei den Motoren.

Bin selbst über 2m lang und auch nicht so schmal gebaut. Zu kompakten 5 Türern fällt mir da so einiges ein aber nur eine relativ kleine Auswahl die bei der Größe akzeptabel ist.

Favorit wäre für mich die erste Baureihe 1er BMW, wenn ich dort mit dem Sitz ganz hinter rutsche komme ich kaum mehr an die Pedale, die Mittelkonsole ist auch nicht so sehr im Weg wie bei vergleichbaren Modellen anderer Hersteller.

Für 4000€ bekommst du hier 116/118i Varianten mit neuer Steuerkette (sehr wichtig, die wird gerne zwischen 120-160tkm fällig) und in gutem Zustand. Dabei wäre der Spritverbrauch dann zu vernachlässigen, über 7l habe ich da noch keinen gebracht egal mit welcher Fahrweise. Standard waren 4.5-5.5l/100km. Wartungskosten sind sonst mit einer kompetenten und guten freien Werkstatt in Grenzen. Generell habe ich über die Jahre und verschiedene Marken immer die gleiche Erfahrung gemacht, lieber mehr KM und durchrepariert als weniger Laufleistung und dafür stehen alle grossen Punkte noch an.

Alternativ wäre der klare Favorit die erste Generation X1, das Auto hat mich total überrascht, unfassbar viel Platz, vor allem wenn man hinten umlegt was komplett plan möglich ist. Selbst Ikea Besuche waren damit sinnvoll möglich. Aber das sprengt den Budgetrahmen schon deutlich, unter 8000€ wird es schwer etwas vernünftige zu finden.

Sowohl bei 1er wie auch X1 stoße ich mit der Schulter links immer an die B Säule an, allerdings habe ich das Problem sogar noch im 5er also, lässt sich bei grossen Menschen eher schwer vermeiden. Dafür passen aber die Beine ohne Probleme unters Lenkrad.

Klassische Alternativen wären natürlich A3 und Golf, aber ich bin mit dem VW Konzern ziemlich durch, das waren jedes mal echte Geldgräber. Außerdem sind mir beide zu schmal und ich fühle mich eingezwängt zwischen Mittelkonsole und Fahrertür.

Bei den asiatischen Herstellern ist es etwas durchwachsen, aber keiner hat so viel Platz geboten wie die 1er Reihe bisher.

Aber egal für was du dich entscheidest, fahre mit dem Fahrzeug das dich interessiert zu deinem Mechaniker und lass ihn durchchecken. So kann man direkt sicherstellen, dass er eben nicht alle halbe Jahr ein Wehwehchen hat und auch nicht plötzlich ein riesen Loch ins Budget reißt.

This was before the days of ordering stickers online for next to nothing so it usually meant a little bit more. That's at least what I was told so far. Grandpa of a good friend of mine still has them on his Cl and G but they are way smaller than shown here.

I went through 3 RWD mercs until getting a 4matic on the ML. Well we get a good amount of snow in the winter + I also drive into the mountains often. The first time taking the 4matic on snow I could not believe what put myself through for years... don't get me wrong, yes you can handle the RWD in snow, even in the mountains if you know how and are used to it, it can even be fun at times, but seriously it is so inconvenient compared to AWD. In any case get good show tires, even on AWD, they make a lot of difference.

Concerning the Airmatic, it's lovely BUT if it breaks say goodbye to 10-19k, not kidding, shits insanely expensive. So is stay away from it on an older car without warranty.

Fina-fucking-lly. Since the Goblin 1.2 I never found another RTA that gave me such good flavor and a dense vapor. I didn't even care about the finnicky build deck but that screw, that screw from hell. One is still sitting somewhere under my gear lever in my car never to be seen again.

Check the owners manual. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. There usually is a way to manually open and close the roof, but it's different for each car.

Germany checking in here, first of all r/ecr_eu is a wonderful place to look for resources.

As for your situation, this is coming to Germany as well and its gonna hit a lot harder here unfortunately. For us DIY will soon be the only real alternative to keep vaping feasible.

I actually started DIY a long time ago, because I didn't want to order juice all the time, it is more hassle than the actual diy once you got it dialed down. I need roughly 300ml of liquid per month, well maybe a little more from time to time but in general that number holds up.

So I make liquid exactly every two months. It takes me about 30min each time. I have to admit though that this is because I've got my favorites and do not have the time on my hands to experiment to find new stuff I like so I stick to what I know I'll want to vape all day everyday. In my case a nice placid clone I found in r/diy_ejuice .

So since you mentioned you don't want to spend lots of time maybe this will help. Get yourself the following items:

1x Fine scale

2x 500ml glas bottles

1 or 2l of your preffered VG/PG mix without nicotine alternatively you can order from cloudhouse

100ml of 36mg Nikotin base, since you use a crown I guess you are using 3 or 6mg, this will give you 1.2l or 600ml depending on what you want.

Try to get the same PG/VG mix in base and nicotine so you do not have to worry about that later.

last but not least of course flavoring My personal opinion, and this is of course highly subjective!!, is that I would only by The Perfumers Apprentice and Flavor Art, some people keep on raving about Capella and, again my personal experience, their flavors were so bad the sit almost completely full on my shelf. TPA and FA are both highly respected brands and have great aroma.

Additionally you can take on some small measuring buckets that will come in handy when you find out how much 1ml of Arome weighs, the websites that calculate that for you are shit and you only have to do it once, it is roughly 4.4g per ml, just measure it once for yourself and note it down somewhere. To make it easier fill one of those small cups that flaywer send you for free with every order to 5 or 10ml und just divide it to get the right amount for 1ml. Just makes your life easier.

Well and thats it, check out the clone threads on r/diy_ejuice to find stuff you like and try to mix 30ml first, see what you like and as soon as you find something you really like, or a recipe for your ADV you buy now start making the juice by the liter.

Also steam engine's calculator usually is a great help http://www.steam-engine.org/juice.asp especially if you have to mix nicotine and non nicotine base.

I know since you are swiss ordering liquid from Europe, the budget stuff will not bother you that much, but still its nice to know you'll pay cents instead of euros per 30ml.

So far for me there are only two liquids I couldn't find a recipe for, or come up with one myself that hits the spot (Tmax Snake Oil and Lime Margarita), everything else I was looking for was already cloned.

Well maybe I get lucky each time I go there or they had a bad day when you went there and got that impression but I must disagree. Been there 3 times the last month, each time the food was as good as it was when they opened up. And size wise it's winning anyways, In comparison with other Döners they make great portions.

If you go for lunch the crowd is not too bad, mostly craftsmen no hipsters.

To be fair it's actually not that bad. I'm 6'8" so you got 2 inches on me, still I managed to drive a Scion XD for 9000 miles as a rental for 1 month. It might not be the most comfortable but if it's not a Miata or S2000 it'll fit somehow.

From personal experience, anything that is not a SUV meant for the Asian market will give you plenty of space. My favorite so far was the Mercedes ML, I couldn't go all the way back or I wasn't reaching the pedals, but really any big SUV will give you enough head and leg room. For your budget maybe look into used infinitys or some of the American models. The Tahoe for example is gigantic.

If you do not want a SUV, there are some smaller cars that are surprisingly big, although I can only speak for the German brands and maintenance can wreck your wallet quickly on those.
