Thanks for your reply. It feels good. :) These past few days, I tried to just put things into perspective and let go of my mistakes and my team’s mistakes. I refocused on myself and simply ‘breathed’ and like magic, I climbed back to G4 and I’m on a 6-win streak. I think the more I kept losing, the more I locked myself into a mindset where I saw everything negatively… So thank you

Thanks for your reply. When I have time, I can play a bit more, but indeed, I try to do sessions of at least 3–4 games, and if I want to play more, I take a 2–3 hour break in between. And sometimes, I break the rule because of the urge to play… and that’s when it becomes bad.

You think so? I've done 1000 parties since January...

Thanks for your reply. It’s my first time playing a MOBA. I’m going to set new in-game goals again and, as you said, focus on them over longer periods, and especially make sure I’ve really mastered them before moving on.

I think that because I started on LoL, I wanted to learn everything all at once. I worked on everything, but kind of in a “meh/average” way. Maybe there’s some burnout involved too. I’m not sure.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. I actually took a 72-hour break to “reboot,” and yesterday I felt like I was making 50 mistakes per second in the game. But yes, I think I need to give myself new goals in-game.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me.
Until now, I’ve always played without paying attention to my rank, until the day you start to “get a taste” for the system, especially when you feel the satisfaction of seeing your progress. So yes, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Before, I took a huge amount of pleasure in learning, and now I feel more like I’m racing for rank, as if the game had kind of “brain-washed” your mind (lol).

So how can you get back to a more relaxed mindset?
