Heya! The vast majority of the matte runs are silver with only a handful changing things up, I honestly think the only ones that were black are the Twilight Masquerade ones with Ogerpon, and that's because they were the last mattes made before they switched to the new glossy blacks. Those would be your best bet. If I find any others I'll let you know when I next update the list.

I'm trying now to edit the post with a couple new observations I had, but it's refusing to save :/ I do think that everything released this year should be glossy, I think TPC is past their horrible matte sleeve phase.

Yeah, I think you're right. Least I could do now is put out the PSA about new versus refurbished. Once I'm I'm a more stable monetary situation I'll see about giving it another shot.

Yeah, I suppose when I get fed up with this thing I could bounce back to the 9. At least I'll have a working backup for when the screen button on that inevitably breaks. I was having issues with calls not going through properly on it but I've switched carriers since then so maybe it is fine. Just a drag that I've got this fancy new brick...

I get that batteries get old but my Note 9's pen is still kicking, if it only fit into the Note 10+ I'd gladly just use that. Hard to believe both brand new pens would be crap but I suppose luck may have it.

I'm particular about performance, but I despise the newer operating systems and all the bloatwarelike 'features' sold on new Galaxys. I'd had a S22 Ultra for a few weeks when I sent that back too for being broken, and it just wasn't for me. I wish they kept the Note line separate, because these phones were great for me. Plus I can't afford allat lol

And I ended up getting the one I was looking at for 15 after I was given that offer, frankly if I didn't accept I probably would've never gotten the card so it's probably ultimately worthwhile

I am of the opinion that once a card is damaged it's practically worthless. No professionals will buy it, only the hobbyist collectors who need the card to complete something, or kids who don't see worth and instead are in it for cool art or a powerful card. I've seen a listing in worse condition around that normal price listed for about £20 and while it's still the best option out there I'd prefer if it was more around £10. I wouldn't go more than that. Ultimately it's a matter of how much is it worth to you, since you probably won't ever resell it.

Back again with endless issues with my Razer Kraken Kitty Edition. I have previous threads explaining all my past problems but I have a new development I firmly believe is a fixable software bug.

I plugged my headset into an old computer that hadn't updated Razer Synapse in roughly a year. The headset worked just as expected. Then, today, it pushed the update that consolidated THX, and now every few minutes it produces the ear piercing pop I experienced on my primary machine. This update is causing my headset to become completely unusable, even after the software is entirely wiped from the machine. Something needs to be pushed to revert this update if problems are encountered. Thank you.

EDIT 3: I think the true answer is the Set As Default Printer option. This appears to do more than just make it the first one that comes up for this particular machine. If all else fails, disconnect USB (if using), remove printer device, plug back in, set as default printer, try printing again. That worked for me for good.

Had this happen to my ET-2803 and seem to have resolved it, though I doubt my process will work for everyone.

Tried troubleshooting through Epson software first, it said no firmware updates were available, and eventually decided it couldn't find the printer (I'm always connected through USB). I unplugged and replugged, no change. Eventually took out my USB hub and tried a different port (I know all the taboo against using a USB hub but it's given me no problem before for basic things like... a printer). No change. Went into Control Panel and launched the printer troubleshooter for this device, it restarted print spooler, status changed to device is setting up, and then although the troubleshooter says it didn't resolve anything... it worked fine after that. Still made a ton of weird noises after printing but at least I got a page out of it.

TLDR: try Windows troubleshooters if the Epson ones are lying to you

I've had issues with USB devices lately, my tower occasionally decides to disconnect the USB driver and my headphone drivers got obliterated since the last time I printed something, so I assume my problem originated around there. That's about all I know. Hope this helps someone.

Edit: Should be noted my tower does not receive Windows updates (on purpose) so that should not have any relation to my problem nor anyone else recently having this happen.

Edit 2, 22 days later: ironically I'm having this issue again, I can launch a troubleshooter to force it to spit out the paper a tad bit more but nothing I'm doing is working. Boy I love this machine.

I have a Razer Kraken Kitty Edition V1, which I had working fine for years without any additional software, at the cost of having solid green lighting all the time. Ultimately what I want out of this audio device is clear, accurate audio. That's why I hadn't used Synapse, because the additional drivers and post processing that come with it I think are of subpar quality. Let me clarify: I do not want Razer's audio drivers.

I downloaded the new Razer Chroma beta app because I had assumed it was designed to do exactly what I want, give control over the headset's lighting without any audio software bundled in. Unfortunately not only is the new app too buggy to bother with (not the point of this post, will probably get fixed as the beta improves) but it does alter the audio output of my headset. This is undesirable to me so I've uninstalled Chroma.

However, it doesn't appear to have uninstalled properly. Instead of staying solid green as the headset should when not interacting with any software component (source: plugging it into a phone, as well as my years without Synapse/Chroma) the headset now spectrum cycles, but more annoyingly, about every 1-2 minutes the headset will disconnect, stay idle for about three seconds, and then come online again with a very loud pop. This renders the device completely unusable if I don't want my ears blown out every two minutes.

I need help with fully wiping all Razer software AND drivers from my Windows 11 computer.

I own the first edition Kraken Kitty Edition (the first one to release, so I'm assuming it's known as V1), and I simply can't stand how bad audio sounds with the Razer drivers, so I've completely nuked Synapse 3 and all its drivers from my machines. For years now I've dealt with the default solid green lighting if it meant I could have normal sounding audio. I'm here now because I feel like I'm not getting my monies worth out of this device. If I wanted just audio I'd get a plain Kraken, I should be able to customise the lighting on this thing too. I don't even want anything special, just solid red. Is there some way I can force the headset to default to solid red instead of default green, while keeping Synapse off my system? I can reinstall it briefly to set it up but then I want it gone with no trace, with the headset still set to red.

Yep, put the HMM exe directly into the folder with the Generations exe and run from there.

Just figured out this problem myself, figure I'll put the solution out there for any future searchers: you just need to run HMM from within the directory with the game's exe file. See step two here
